We're all dead
Srs question..like imagine worst case scenarios for next five years
The GOP has complete control of the federal government and most state governments beginning in January. It can get really ing bad. The Bush 43 years are probably a best case scenario.
he cant do if his party doesnt agree to pass it in the senate, even though his party now owns majority of the house and justice system, still cant do whatever u want or else they will just replace him with another puppet...
What are some potential scenarios that could happen?
if u can stand 6yrs of bush jr, how hard can 4yrs of trump be?
ive notice in his speech he talks about the economy, but doesnt talk about repaying down the 21t debt...
It'll be fine you're going to get tired of winning so much
I can imagine if race relations get worse tons of blacks sitting during the national Anthem now or is that ridiculous? Like half the leagues
One thing's for sure: if anything goes wrong, the GOP will have only itself to blame.
Is boutons still alive, tbh?
boutons is going to love having so much to about. No need to worry about him.
It's RandomGuy I'm worried about. Poor guy thought Texas was about to turn blue.
Everything will be completely fine
he cant do whatever he wants, he has to troll out the party policy makers...his nothing more then a puppet like the rest b4 him....
Even though this poster is some sort of Asian jibber jabber dude this is exactly why I think there's really going to be no problem at all
No need to be dramatic. Imperfect as democracy is, there are safeguards built into the system. There are enough elected officials in both the House and Senate who won't agree with Trump's crazier policies. The courts can step in and block him if needed. I would wager that Trump's most controversial proposals will never see the light of day in the form that he promised.
The setbacks will come thanks to old-fashioned corporate whoring. ALEC will write laws for congress to pass, and Trump wouldn't know much about the topic. In that sense, he will be like Reagan and Dubya - just look presidential and sign bills. There will be some sweet tax cuts for the donor class, a one-time tax holiday for corporations to bring back untaxed offshore money, cutting regulations - especially on banks, energy companies, utility companies that already have virtual monopolies. Some of this will help businesses and screw consumers in the short term.
In the long term, I wouldn't worry too much - the world will need to adapt to systemic changes (large scale automation of jobs, climate change, healthcare costs) that are a lot more significant than 4 years of Trump. Worst-case scenario: Trump does nothing to plan for these impending changes. Maybe the states can take a shot at solving them, maybe the private sector comes up with some good ideas. The Federal government often follows the lead of the states.
The Trump campaign's rhetoric vs minorities - I don't think this will become a new normal. Trump is the consummate conman, and he did what he thought would win him votes from the alt-right fringe. I don't believe he will give them a platform or any say in policy.
If you're a progressive, think of the silver lining. This is a great chance for the Dems to expel the Clinton stench and rebuild the party with Berniecrats. Focus on building a grassroots organization at the state level and win back the trust of the working class. Stop the SJW/safe space nonsense and avoid a federal approach to gun issues. The Republican experiments in Kansas, NC and Wisconsin haven't really worked. California, Minnesota and Colorado are delivering better results under Democratic leadership. Getting rid of Clinton was like removing a cancerous growth - the only way is up.
The "change" the racist, bigoted, xenophobic white Trash supporters wanted, financial improvement for themselves, won't happen under a Repug govt. They have been duped, conned, in theie stupidity and ignorance.
The change that will happen will be 100% negative for Trash supporters.

I'll be waiting for all the celebs to leave that grandstanded that they would "leave the country and become expats" if Trump wins...
Ok, so leave... see you later, don't come back...
Bryan Cranston and the other idiots.
And the Iranian nuclear deal.
The Repug replacement will be much worse, and more costly.
But Repugs, esp "asterisk" Ryan, give very few details on costs, and who will pay what.
