Trump is a dangerous buffoon that will now be in charge of our nuclear arsenal. Pop is exactly spot on in his comments that the worst part is half the country wanted him as our President. Has nothing to do with political party, had Romney or even Pence run for President it would have been fine. , I saw today that idiot was still making twitter posts so that just confirms again the guy is too damn stupid to realize he is about to be the leader of the free world and every word that comes out of his mouth, every thought he has will be scrutinized. I just pray he doesn't get us nuked before he gets kicked out of office.

Its not about being democrat or republican. I wouldn't be so upset if Romney won instead if he ran.

Trump is a racist, sexist, and extremely judgemental person. Why would I ever support that?

I heard he has webbed toes, and 666 tattooed under that hair. Like, if you think so too. We need this to go viral.

It's because SA has 7 military bases and complexes including Kelly ARB. Obama's disapproval rating was like 80%+ among military personnel. at one point. If you pay any attention to the news, you can see why. The fact that Texas has the most military installations of any state, well, you can see why people who live in a military town, might not like Obama and Hillary Clinton.

What are you talking about? I don't make fun of disabled people. My girlfriend, who is a social worker, doesn't make fun of disabled people. Neither of us make fun of gay people, women, or minorities. Why would I insult someone when I have no understanding of their life?

It happened because he is not a politician?? So anyone thats not a politician is allowed to talk that way? I don't know anyone outside of middle school or high school that talks that way.

His message is racist, sexist, and misogynistic. Hes appealing to a population of people that align with that disgusting mindset.
You and your girlfriend dont make fun ok, have you ever seen movies from the Farrelly Brothers?, Scary Movie 2, Tropic Thunder?
Is not about understanding, some people make fun of others.
Most people act like that, Reps or Dems thats human nature, Im not saying thats ok but now he is talking like a president, not like our next door drunk neighbor, has a plan for his first 100 days and we should discuss his politics and not what media wants.

Dude, do you even know nuclear warfare protocol. Trump can't do without approval of the Joint Chief of Staffs, first off. Even then there is a very stringent chain of command for the nuclear launch protocol to commence and be carried out. Your fears are very misplaced.

San Antonio is a blue city.
Hispanics mostly. One of the only cities in American that have a majority Hispanic population. And to let you know, I am Spanish, from San Antonio, and my family has lived in Texas for 400 years.

Go to Alamo Heights, Castle Hills, and going out to Hill Country etc. I know white population, it's mostly republican. Most of the Military population, Republican. It's not entirely blue. It's just b/c of the high Hispanic population is why it has been mostly voted democratic over the past couple of decades. But it use to be more Republican. This article does an excellent job of breaking up the demographics of San Antonio.

Never said that. I said Democrats keep on promising and never delivering and people keep on buying into their nonsense. Well, I guess those free housing projects built in the 60's and beyond are just too good to give up. But Seriously, you would think you try something else once in awhile to see if you can't come up w/ another result. , it could be an Independent candidate or one of those Green candidates running for office in SA. It's the blind leading the blind, and I am talking about all politicians. If these people stop putting their faith in a PARTY and rather in themselves, I think they can go farther in life. And I know what I am talking about, because I am talking about some of my own family members, considering that if you go to my 3rd/4th cousins and Great Great Aunts/Uncles, I have over 2,000+ relatives that live in San Antonio, no joke. I have over 50 first cousins that live in San Antonio. I have a large sample size.

In 1928, repugs controlled the presidency and congress. The Great Depression soon followed in 1929.

Repugs also had the presidency as well as the house and senate majorities from 2005-2007. The Great Recession soon followed in 2007-2008.

Same happen in the 80's after the worst recession since the depression happen in the mid to late 70's and Russian was winning the global coldwar. An elected Republican President and Congress turned things around.

As you see, it can go either way. There was a lot of factors, to many to name, that brought about the great depression. It hardly was b/c America had a Republican president and congress. Any party could of had control and the depression would have happen just the same.

You are a in fact mistaken, the President of the United States does not need the "approval" of the of Joint Chiefs of Staff or anyone else to initiate an attack, a response or anything else. The Chain of Command ends at the top. We now have a person who has zero experience in public service with the responsibility of making the ultimate decision. I just hope he listens to Pence and others with experience in foreign policy and military matters. Dealing with domestic issues is a sideline. Getting back on track here Pop has the experience to make a qualified statement regarding our new President. Its a free country (for now). Go Spurs Go.

True enough. I think Trump is a clown. He is a leader though and he has been an excellent mediator through the years, apart from his occasional outburst towards people like Rosie O'Donnell (who can blame him). But Hillary is a manipulative lying . I didn't vote, but if had to vote, I would chose the lesser of two evils that is Trump. He doesn't hold that many of my beliefs, but he does love this country, he is a leader and has never sold it out in any fashion that I am aware of.

That GOP economy is real good for everyone right?
Actually Hillary lost this election bc of the pitiful recovery under Obama that helped the rich get richer while continuing to send jobs overseas and imposing regulations that made it impossible for businesses to start or grow. These trade deals, while getting us all cheap goods, costs us jobs. Open borders, which Hillary aspires for, would open the flood gates to Mexico and other places for jobs. Better tell those blue collar workers their jobs are going to Mexico so they need to pack their bags and learn Spanish.

The GOP economy is not unlike the Dems, so I don't know if this gets better with Trump bc I'm not convinced he's an outsider except in terms of being an atypical politician, but this election turned when blue collar workers turned from Hillary to Trump in the rust belt bc the middle class is overtaxed and underpaid and are losing jobs.
