yeah they briefly said concussion protocol during the game but i haven't seen anything since.
http://dal.247sports.com/Bolt/Jason-...-week-48859069Tony Romo is taking steps to return to the field for the Dallas Cowboys, and this week will be one more towards his goal.
On Sunday, owner Jerry Jones said he would not speculate on the status of his veteran quarterback for Week 10, instead looking forward to seeing what he can do in practice this week. EVP Stephen Jones echoed the statement on Monday.
On Wednesday, head coach Jason Garrett stated, via DallasCowboys.com, the four-time pro bowler will again run the 7-on-7 scout team this week, putting his active status for Sunday in grave doubt.
The bottom line is until Romo begins taking some first team reps, he'd be very unlikely to suit up for the first time since suffering the fractured vertebra on Aug. 25.
The question of if Romo will take over from rookie Dak Prescott once he's back will most likely have to wait another week, as he first needs to prove to the club he is healthy enough to be activated in the first place.
Romo has reportedly stated he is capable of taking 'NFL hits'.
We'll all find out soon enough.
Garrett noted the veteran has had no setbacks or pain from his recent practice and throwing sessions. He says Romo is in positive spirits as they go through the rehab process.
"Positive," Garrett said of the franchise QB's feedback. "He's [Romo has] been throwing the ball well. He had two good days of practice last week. He's champing at the bit, but we'll watch him today at practice and see how he does."

Randy Gregory failed ANOTHER drug test and is facing a year long suspension:
Time for the Cowboys to cut their losses with this guy.
Cowboys have had the easiest schedule in the NFL heading into this week, this should be their first real test, tbh..
Garrett says Leary cleared concussion protocol.
man, aldon smith is going to be a disaster in vegas
Reports are Claiborne's injury might be worse than expected

Leary cleared for practice but questionable because of concussion protocol. Tyron Smith should be ready to go. Chaz Green will be out. Church had successful surgery. Clairborne still might have a possible sports hernia which can develop from the groin injury.
They will still monitor him day to day until gameday just to be sure.
Wow...Dude just don't care........Time to let him go.....
Next on 30 for 30...The tragic story of Randall Gregory...
What a ing re . Dude needs to get cut to send a message to the team. Who the throws away a pro sports career to smoke weed besides Ricky Williams? What a waste![]()
At least Ricky Williams played some and was productive.
Yeah for real.. Gregory is by far way more of an embarrassment to weed
R.I.P.
That offensive line is unfair to the rest of the league, tbh..I've never seen anything like it..
SUP Trill Clinton ?!?!!? SWAAAAAG
Lee! we're 8-1 brother!
Can't imagine any team in the NFC even competing with Dallas, tbh..only NE, overall..
Not to take anything away from Zeke or the O-Line (all studs), but I'm so proud of Dak. Glad he's having success so early in his career.
