We've seen Kawhi have a great stretch, Pau did, ( by his standards) and TP as well currently.

Hopefully this is LMA's time. It has to be good for their confidence early on, and we need these guys to feel comfortable

right on, exactly mythoughts , hmmmmm

This game should've been about over. Whiteside and Waiters really hurting the Spurs there towards the end of the half.

Exactly my point, if you want to be mediocre then be mediocre with fans cheering for you ergo resign wade. It doesnt matter in the long run, you still suck, better profit from it.
Wade is an injury prone aging superstar that's past his prime. Every team isn't dumb enough to do those "kobe severance packages" as we are

There is from a business standpoint, add to the fact that the team is still so but are not really tanking and will win games because they are in the east while not having people watching them.
a team starting babbit and waiters is not going to win many games tbh... they also have no depth.. i'd take my bets on the tank tbh

If it were that easy, everyone would do it. He's got great length and timing and leads the league in rebounding.

We don't have TD out there, who had great fundamentals in terms of boxing out and positioning
BOX HIM OUT!!! If you're not gonna get him then just prevent him from getting it. Barkley was 6'4 and a rebounding monster. Gasol just isn't showing any effort.

Last game I thought I was watching Dirk instead of Gasol.

Not at all. I don't understand why people are so strongly against shooting open shots. that's literally what all the game planning goes into, to get an open shot. If they can create their own open shot, it's still a good shot because it's open. Puts the pressure on the defense and makes the game easier on the other teammates. Basketball is all about getting open shots. Having Big's that can take advantage of the wing's penetration is a blessing.

The fade away jumpers bug me, but wide open PnP shots are pretty efficient shots especially when you have two of the most elite mid-range bigs in the game taking them.

There's rules which keep a player from just waiting around to box out. At the point of defense, you're usually moving backwards, while they are moving forward. If it was simple, and easy, offensive boards wouldn't exist.

LMA shooting 88% from the field. I fully expect that to become a regular occurrence.

I agree with you, but these guys are who they are. Our best rebounding big is probably Lee, but he just doesn't have the size to consistently beat out Whiteside

I guess I'd just like them to mix it up a little more.

You can't face a player and box out but there are no rules from boxing a player out keeping them from getting a rebound unless you're holding or initiating contact. If you box out and attempt to go for it while boxing out, but keeping your man from getting it, that's perfectly legal. As much as Gasol flops, if Whiteside gets aggresive, Gasol can get over the back calls. He's 7 foot tall
