    Trump finally responded to Pop:

"Why would anyone even listen to him? I mean, have you seen his wife? Have you seen mine? Seriously. And he's so low-energy in his interviews. I give great interviews. It's not even fair, really. I don't know how the whole basketball thing works, Pops, but if you need a loan to buy some better players, give me a call. Maybe I should just buy the team. I would have the greatest team ever, let me tell you. All of my players would be huuuge."
Lol thats funny, anyway Trump would kick Pop´s ass in a fight.

The Clintons have no moral bar; who the f*ck cares about your self righteous bull sh*t.
Hey Beavis! Glad to see you had time to post on the weekend. I know it's hard being a 13 year old.... boy I bet your arms are tired. By the way I've been meaning to tell you, not trying to be insulting, but posts like "i own that troll...dude is my " are not great basketball 'takes.'

I'm starting to think the only thing you 'own' is the personality of a little prick. Just kidding Beavis, I'm sure you're a good kid. Do you get beat up by bullies often? I hope not! I took my kid to our martial arts school and nobody ever bullied him- and he wasn't a little prick. Also another thing, people don't 'block' you because you're clever- they block you because you are kind of an asshole..

I'll get back with you on the political stuff, but I have a basketball game to attend and look forward to applauding the Spurs and their incredible coach!. Er...I have really bad news for you...Jimmer isn't playing. Sorry pal! Anyway good hearing from you and remember- study, study, study! Also Beavis, bull is one word.

Trump just appointed an anti-Semitic white nationalist as his chief policy adviser. There's no pretending anymore. Pop knows what he's talking about.

You mean the guy who worked for Andrew Breitbart, who was a Jew? And who (Breitbart) used to sing Hebrew songs at work? And who said, “I’m glad I’ve become a journalist because I’d like to fight on behalf of the Israeli people... And the Israeli people, I adore and I love". I bet Breitbart hated having an anti-Semite working for him, huh?

All you know about the guy is what you read on CNN.

Because I said "lemmings"? Someone mentions small rodents, and you automatically think about gay sex?

Glad you brought up Andrew Breitbart who died at the age of 43 and whose friends described as someone 'who liked to party' and liked to 'stay awake.' In your selective quotes from Wikipedia I see you left out he was inspired by Rush Limbaugh and had a storied history of alcohol and cocaine abuse- few were surprised by his early death.

Bannon really came into his own after his death and any previous attempts at not being entirely blatant about racism, sexism, nationalism, and xenophobia were thrown out the window. Have you read The Breitbart News since Anthony died? It was 'hard right' before his passing and really flourished in its bigotry after Anthony Breitbart's passing. This is all all on the record and historical fact regarding Bannon. He doesn't not hide his nationalism and racism one bit. It was his wife who made comments about his anti-Semite remarks and accused him of physical abuse. Whether they are true or not I don't know, but listen to a few of his interviews and you'll get a good idea about him.

I think Budkin's post was dead on with the 'anti- Semitic' part being the only speculative statement- maybe his ex-wife was just making it all up and divorced him because he was a sweetheart. However, he is an avowed supporter of the 'white nationalist movement' and a nasty piece of work. Trump really owes him though- he brought out the 'white nationalist' vote.

When do you think Mexico is giving us the trillions of dollars to build that wall?

So you condemn people who "like to party" and who like to "stay awake"? So no music, television, or movies for you? You people. Someone publishes a comment you don't like, and they are a "racist" or "misogynist" forever. By that theory, after you sucked that first , you became a sucker forever. But I don't call you a sucker, do I? I don't hold your past against you - you have to prove you're a sucker every day.

So Breitbart was "hard right" before Andrew Breitbart died? This is from Mother Jones, for s sake: "Andrew Breitbart despised racism. Truly despised it. He used to brag regularly about helping to integrate his fraternity at Tulane University. He insisted that racial stories be treated with special care to avoid even the whiff of racism."

But, hey, no amount of facts can change a closed mind. You need someone to blame, and an enemy to hate. And you're too lazy to even find one on your own - you just follow someone else. ing lemming.

This is what is wrong with the world today. Phil Jackson calling Lebron's friends "posse" is now some kind of coded language. Political correctness will be the death of this country.

Sanders said that while he was surprised Trump won, he wasn’t shocked because “What the media doesn’t understand, what the establishment doesn’t understand, is there are tens of millions of people, who are not racists, who are not sexist, they’re hurting.”

Some of you dumb s need to hate someone so badly that you can't/won't understand what even Bernie Sanders knows. Everyone who voted for Trump isn't racist/misogynist/whatever-ist. The establishment on both sides - Democrat AND Republican - lost that election. Pop may be a good basketball coach, but he's so convinced of his own superiority (in every way) that he can't see outside of his own locker room.

I don't condemn him at all. I didn't agree with Anthony Breitbart, but had no problem with him. Today I applaud this outing of Anthony Weiner- someone I have zero respect for. I too have understood that Anthony Breitbart was especially concerned about "even a whiff of racism" being portrayed from his paper. I'm saying it's not the case since he passed away. Several people from the organization have left because they don't agree with "alt right" viewpoints of Steve Bannon who opening supports white nationalism. Again this is not something that any person with a computer can't hear about. I say read for yourself and make up your own mind. It's almost Onion like in it's so over the top you think they're kidding. I don't think you understand that hard-right and racism are not mutually exclusive.

This thread was started because Pop came forward and spoke out what he thinks about Trump being elected and I think he was dead on. I'm pretty sure they have a section for political discussions and that's where all this discourse should be. In fact, I was at the game last night and I'm much more concerned about how we are playing than talking to you about Steve Bannon. If you like him or even really have ever heard him speak is completely inconsequential to me. Again Anthony Breitbart had a short life and seemed well respected. He's not there anymore.

Sanders has been great and eloquent on this subject. He's is right. Pop has not in any way said 'everyone who voted for Trump is a racist." His statement was very clear. I for one am extremely proud of Sanders and Pop. They are people I admire- case closed. Your attacks on him say absolutely nothing about him and whether 'he's convinced of his own superiority' or not- they only say something about you. I get where you are going with the 'establishment' on both sides losing, but do you think Priebus, Rudy, and Newt Gingrich are outsiders? Washington is still filled with all the same House, Senate, career lobbyist, and we will see if any improvements can be made.

I don't care what anyone on this site thinks about politics. I'm not surprised at all to hear Trump supporters talking trash- I expect nothing less than ' sucker,' 'dumbass' etc. That's what Pop is talking about.

Really wish Pop had kept his mouth shut. There's a reason you leave politics out of sports -- just check out the plummeting NFL ratings this year after all those black players refused to stand for the Anthem. You lose half of your fanbase by making a political stance one way or the other. Pop didn't attack Trump, he attacked everyone who voted for him.

I understand Pop's one of those people who doesn't give a , and that's fine, but their will be consequences. I for one don't really like being called a racist, bigot, xenophobic, misogynist and will respond in kind by never buying a spurs ticket or merchandise for as long as Pop is coaching the team. Still a Spurs fan, but this is not acceptable. Hopefully my fellow Republicans sitting in the first 30 rows of every game will feel the same way and the only sounds you'll hear in the stadium from now on will come from way up high, where all the mexica--I mean democrats sit. Or stand, whatever.

What Pop said is his right and I don't care if he speaks his mind. I just don't like all the fawning from his media sycophants when condemns Trump's supporters for ignoring racist comments while voting for Trump, but says nothing about Hillary's negligence with the emails and then lying to the American people about it repeatedly a la John Edwards. To me, that's just as disqualifying to say nothing of the pay to play Clinton Foundation scheme.

But the death of the NBA is political correctness and it is on full display with Lebron and co acting like Jackson is using racial coding when he calls Lebron's friends his "posse." Posse was what players' friends were called throughout the 90s, when Jackson was coaching and to now insinuate that it is racial code is a jump the shark moment. If racial coding is such a low bar, then who isn't racist?
