It's amazing when he misses wide open 3s and has 1-5 like shooting nights from 3. He use to be automatic.
He robbed Kawhi of a triple double tonight.

2 year, $30 million extension after this season and ST explodes.
If Whataburger opens up a couple more places, that might do it as well tbh

    good flashback game from Tony...
got to admit, if Tony doesn't have a flashback game this was a blowout.
I thought he was excellent Wednesday against the Kings. Very grateful to see him play strong 2 games in a row.

The problem with Enrique is games like these make him think he can be the HOTS. He ain't doing this against the Clippers or Warriors of the world, but he'll try which is a terrible idea tbh.

Tuned in to see a close game. Check the box score, kyle with double digit minutes and zeros across the board.. oh wait, he got a rebound.

Cue the "but he's good at rebounding" crew.

    Cue

Is this the first game Kawhi has led or been an outright leader on the team in Points/rebounds/assist/steals?

Lakers are definitely a playoff team in the West this year. Still, the fact this was such a struggle despite huge runs is an embarrassment for the Spurs. There should not be this many open threes given up, especially with Kawhi and LDN on the perimeter. Team needs to work on its focus.

It really must have been the knee (I was worried he was going to have a Tim situation with that knee affecting his offensive performance, jumpshots etc.) but he's come back playing well. I think Pop is going to have to manage his minutes carefully (Manu too. I know Pop didn't want to play him more than 20 minutes.)
With the Spurs bench being so young and rooks (I mean Laprovittola, Murray?) I don't know how Pop will manage it, but he's going to have to keep them both rested and healthy through the season.

I thought the layup lines were worrisome too. I have seen them against other teams.. even the heat.

He was very solid on defense TBH, otherwise you would have seen huge negatives when he was on the floor and he came out better than even until he was there in the last few minutes of the game... there weren't many shots to be had for him and that is fine, unless you want him taking shots from others TBH... bc that would make you kind of a hypocrite.

As frustrating it can be watching this team, one cannot deny how much we need Dedmon.
