Unless Buechele had no business being in the game after the wack. His backup came in and immediately fumbled. It really shows how thin we were. I feared this the whole year. We got a lot of game out of Buechele. Imagine the season without him.
Sounding more and more like this is going to go down today.

Well the game is on Friday so they don't have all week to think about this. If it's going to happen before the TCU game, then it should happen today.
I wouldn't be against recruiting a second QB into this current class, but after this season QB depth won't be a problem. As it is next year we will have. Buechele, Merrick, Heard (if needed) and Erlinger. That is four guys we can call upon if needed. Ideally we can redshirt Erlinger, but if Buechele is insured for an extended amount of time, I'd be for pulling that shirt.
Assuming Herman is the next coach, he will bring his QB commit with him John Tyler's Bryson Smith, teammate of Texas current WR commit Damion Miller.

If it was me, my first phone call would be to Jarrett Stidham.
How about Kyle Allen? Grad transfer maybe?

Sources told HD Texas president Greg Fenves initially wanted to wait to do anything until after Friday's regular-season finale against TCU.
But after discussions among UT officials on Sunday, it sounds like athletic director Mike Perrin could meet with Strong either Sunday night or Monday morning - before Strong's weekly press conference at 11 am CT on Monday, sources said.
The meeting would outline Strong's departure with the hope of Strong coaching in Friday's TCU game, sources told HD.

I missed the final minute of the game and OT. Should the INT by Boyd have counted? The announcers on the radio said it looked like he had possession, went down, and then the offensive player pulled the ball away. I am very upset that the refs refused to at least review it.
It was review worthy IMO. But then, when has any officiating this year been worth a damn.
Seems like the biggest bargaining chip we have for any potential coach is the talent Strong has supposedly assembled.
Said all along Strong was a horrible hire for UT. He recruited decently, but the talent on the team is very overrated especially when Foreman leaves for the draft.
Mike Perrin can suck a . Just be done with it you ing jackass. Belmont is filled with idiots.
Not sure what he's doing unless Charlie is "resigning" in the press conference tomorrow.
This is the only possible thing!
Texas Athletics is filled with re s. Too many to count. How do you this up?
