Green on defense isn't bad but he looks poor on offense today... Gasol is getting beaten on rebounds.... Kauai gets penetration but doesn't pass out well when he gets his momentum stopped. Spurs just need a guy who you can count on for 15 a night somewhere. There offense just looks like they are trying to figure out who other than Leonard and LMA are going to score.

Really surprised Slomo and Simmons had poor games considering how they usually thrive when playing against D-leaguers.

Pop nearly gave me a heart attack with this one. Aside from the usual, it's hard to find anyone who had a solid game. Manu came through. Pop played him a lot of minutes (and Gasol) while resting Tony and LMA, both younger.

    Think about that one

Pop may be senile after all.

If players play hard defense, the other guy doesn't look spectacular? Wow
Hard defense historically doesn't work with everyone. Didn't work with Bernard King cuz he was gonna get his points regardless

He was trying to throw the game. You know how he does. It's one of those games in which he's not calling timeouts and playing bull lineups. Murray and Forbes got good minutes tonight. He was trying his hardest to throw it.

Is that a thing? Why at home? Why not pull that on the road?

Porkerstan getting their schtick ruined in the last 30 secs by Manure... almost better than the W
Manure having one of his good (by his loooooow standards) against lottery teams, per par

Simmons was screwed on 2 plays. One play he had a dunk goal tended as the defender stuck his hand thru the hoop on a foul. the next play, he went for a dunk and was hit on his head going up and he missed the dunk.

Danny took an ill-advised late 3, but otherwise played a very solid game. Excellent D late, some clutch boards and FTs. Pretty solid - although I tuned in late in the first half.

Simmons played okay but couldn't finish at the rim nor hit FTs.

Pretty much everyone made mistakes at one point or another. It was rough to watch, specially on defense. I though with just a couple of moments in exception, Danny had a very good game. He moved the ball well. Kawhi and Pau were the best, Manu was huge late. Patty had a good game. Lee played well but he was a center and that's rough for him. Other than them the rest was a comedy of errors.

Truly makes you wonder about Pop. If he is calculating just how much time he can give to young guys for development purposes and still eke out a W, okay. But if that is what he is doing, then why not use your timeouts to coach the young 'uns? Truly a headscratcher.

Dude looks slow and out of shape at times. I think Pop just wanted to give Bertans minutes personally but still...

Manu came up with a couple of big boards and two clutch late FTs. Pau, I missed his good parts. He stood flat footed on a big rebound late, and I don't think he hit a shot while I was watching.

Pau kept them afloat on offense at times. He does look like he's not trying at times, definitely, but there were times that it was Pau keeping them in it I guess I have curved my expectations with Pau.
