That had to be the best closing game for the Spurs all year tbh. Clutch shooting, clutch FTs, clutch defense, clutch rebounding, and no stupid fouls. I thought for sure we were going to choke somehow. Good !

Well, it worried them enough to have a meeting about it afterwards. Then the Dubs go and ass rape the same Lakers team we struggled mightily against. I'm just saying the Dubs are improving at full steam ahead and it's scary.
Yeah, they sure are beating up on the elites while playing w/ their full-squad.

    Celtics

    15 draft picks.... 15 busts

Lakers with a 50 Million cancer on a retirement tour and still rebuilt better than you
Ainge, indulging his enormous ego, squandered a boat-load of assets.

Well, the Dubs are looking as scary as everyone thought they'd look when they signed Durant. Fortunately, we give them clear matchup problems but their offense is crazy.

Yet he still out-rebounded LMA. Ouch!

Thanks for posting the game stats.

The Cripples are looking down on them & it will probably remain that way the rest of the season.

Worth the 2 am game here
It certainly is, 1 am game here in Jakarta. Bertans gave nice interview there, impressed with his command of english. But i can see why he was drafted so low back then, very slight & narrow body for a big man.

Just wished that the season opener wasn't a fluke and that more teams would exploit their flaws.

As you said, all about match-ups. Or it may well be a fluke. We'll see. Last year taught me that regular seasons mean nothing

good post. just because spurs aren't scoring 140 points a game like the dublettes are doesn't mean they don't have potential to be a really good team of their own. good to see people focusing on the good parts of this win.

VERY impressive. Not just his command of English, but he seemed very relaxed and natural.

They will still fight against athletic teams (wolves, bucks, suns, etc) and teams with dominating Centers
