After two solid road wins against, IMO, the 3rd and 4th best Eastern teams playing at full strength, the Spurs face the struggling Wizards (5-9)-- on B2B after a close win in Orlando-- in what has all the makings of a trap game devolving into one of those typical ty November losses happening on a buzzer beater or something.. a true Spur tradition..
Spurs have a couple of days rest after this one to play the same bottom-dwelling Magic at home on Tuesday, so I might give Manu a half of week rest here and play everyone else..
Let's go get it!

Funny thing was we actually lost a game to the wizards last year the way you described it![]()

INJURY REPORT – Dewayne Dedmon (left knee sprain) is doubtful and Manu Ginobili (rest) is out for tonight’s Spurs-Wizards game.
As I expected.. I would also rest Manu against Magic on Tuesday , but have him suit up for @ Dallas on 2nd night of B2B..Glad Dedmon looks healed and ready to play..our D really suffered meanwhile..

Spurs really should make the most of this soft schedule juncture: @ Washington, vs Orlando, @ Dallas (b2b), vs Washington, @Milwaukee, @Wolves (b2b), @ Chicago , vs Nets..
Anything more than one L and less than a 20-4 record on the wake of it, would be disappointing..
Yeah...They need to go on a streak here to have a shot at 1 seed. Take advantage of the schedule. 34-7 for the first half of the season with the given schedule....
Pau is going to get destroyed w/ the Wall/Gortat PnR.![]()
Spurs started 46-10 in '10-'11, I won't be surprised if the current squad put up a fluky 34-7 record.![]()
Hopefully Dedman is walking to that court tonight![]()

Para aprovechar el día libre en DC. Me fui a dar una vuel a.
Pop gave me a day off, so I went for a walk in DC. World War II Memorial.

nah, this team is better and has a higher (defensive) ceiling than 2010-11; IMO: Softridge manning up; Deadman getting more minutes; same with DG with his shot falling, Kawhi ratching it up to DPOY-level D..etc
We are probably losing this one. We always lose @washington. Wall, Beal too athletic for us. Plus pop is probably playing 13 minute mile mr. Oh not a big deal I'm just checking in to the game Anderson
Could be another big night for the bench unit. The Wizards have the second worst scoring bench in the league.
Spurs have lost to Washington only a few times the past 20 years. , other than the Dubs, they're the team Tim lost to the least. On top of that Washington is awful this year. Spurs should have no trouble finding a way to win this one.
Spurs never disappoint as far a vomiting few inexplicable losses each year..this wouldn't be even more shocking than taking an L to an 1-11 Pelican team last November..We're due one before December rolls![]()
The Pelicans owned the Spurs' souls the last few years due to having a team full of Spurs killers tbh. As for vomit-enducing losses, they already had one to Utah, and that three-game home losing streak was disgusting enough as well. Spurs have three days off after tonight so they have no excuses to lose this one.
Hopefully so..we need to put some separation (already up 3 games on MEM/HOU) for that top 3 seeding with this cakewalk schedule in the next 10 days in case of an injury to Kawhi-- you know he is going to take a week off for some weird per par
The last time the Spurs had the League's best road record?
2014![]()
This should be an interesting game. WAS has not been as bad as their record, but they go through some mind-numbingly bad stretches.
But they have won 3 of their last 4 (against mediocre teams) but they don't seem really capable of blowing anyone out. Have to hope Wall doesn't have a random good 3PT shooting game.
Looking forward to watch Bertans play.....
