The idea of liberalism is a freedom to do as you please without repercussion, and the socialism component lumped in with it means you do whatever you want and someone else pays for it. Of course laws that are meant to be restrictive are going to be broken by people who openly profess to abhor restrictive laws.
While I feel most here support many liberal objectives like social equality, identifying with a group doesn't mean your actions are supported by the group.

Degeneracy =/= criminal behavior
Meaning you can be a degenerate & not (at least outwardly) break any laws either because the laws themselves find particular types of degeneracy (& others not) to be acceptable or through secrecy or both.
I'm not going to address the actual claim made within the article since I'm on my phone & can't view the charts clearly. However, the claim you've made about degeneracy is a giant leap. Degeneracy knows no race, religion, nationality, or class. Certain kinds of degeneracy however are deemed acceptable or non-acceptable (legal vs. non-legal) by certain groups that just so happen to have power.
I think the most obvious example is how pharmaceutical narcotics are being prescribed & sold around the country under many times false pretenses. People abuse them, doctors know they are being abused, yet people are still prescribed them &/or sell them, & many people die from drug OD every day. It's an epidemic, yet how many of these people actually get sent to prison? When your drug dealer is your doctor, & you make enough to support yourself/family & your insurance covers the opiate, benzo etc. cost, you don't have to steal/shoot/kill to support your addiction. But it kills people & ruins families everyday. It won't be checkmarked as "criminal behavior" but it may as well be. Yet it goes unchecked, under the protection & guise of being "acceptably" degenerate.
And there are plenty of other examples.
So, while the claim made in the article may very well be fact, it's ludicrous to make the claim you've made. They're different. It's obvious they're different to anyone who isn't blinded & guided by confirmation bias & partisanship.
Kudos to you for due diligence, but OP is either trolling or he's a hopeless fool who's not worth the effort.
