Are you out there or do you think posting is the same as standing out there for months?
This is a dumb protest just done to protest. The pipeline doesn't cross Indian land. There are already eight other pipelines crossing the river. They have a legal permit to build the pipeline. Environmental impact statements are done and approved. They need to get the out of the way.
we should give them some blankets.
as a peace gesture.
Path moved away from Bismark to protect its water supply
I support the sacred tribes protecting their sacred lands. How could you not?? They are so adorable and
Call mother Earth a sacred being. Beautiful people. I stand by them
are you one of those "the redskins should change their name" pricks?
They should get their asses back to the casino where they belong.
This. This whole fake controversy is just an excuse for tree-huggers to get attention. They would whine about this pipeline no matter where it was built. If it were up to those gots, we would all regress back to a primitive Stone Age lifestyle becausemuh carbon footprint.

How can they call it a "peaceful" protest when they are illegally blocking roads, a construction site, etc. that's not peaceful.
who have they attacked and assaulted? i think thats what the word peaceful denotes, not necessarily the legality or trespass aspect
If a homeless guy moves into your house would you consider that peaceful so it's ok?
it would be illegal and i'd call the cops. and in the context of my personal residence no that wouldn't be peaceful
The construction company called the cops.
i never said the protesters action's were legal. i was just equating "peaceful" with "nonviolent" as opposed to equating peaceful with legal
they are lucky we didn't kill them all. You should get in your truck and go tell them personally in fact.
What if the homeless guy owned the home you are renting?
So you guys are OK with corporate eminent domain...
you're ok with it until there's a sympathetic national story.
show me where I have been OK with corporate eminent domain...
its right next to all your posts complaining about it before this story

Dalrymple’s order signed Monday, Nov. 28, states that people camping in the area near the Cannonball River are ordered to leave immediately and take all their possessions with them.
The order comes three days after the Corps told the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe it would be closing the Corps-managed land north of the Cannonball River on Dec. 5.
The governor’s order, which takes effect immediately, applies to Corps lands where the agency has not permitted camping, said governor spokesman Jeff Zent.
