Watch out for that poster in the grades thread![]()
Every player and even the coach is getting the blame today..... but no one is calling out the fat necks in the crowd that take 2 hours to get to their seats and can't go 2 and a half hours without eating.
The 40-1 home record last year was a fluke. Spurs are finally playing the way they're supposed to infront of the worst crowd in the NBA. Couldn't even get to their seats during Tim's last home game against OKC. Pathetic whales

Have you attended a game this year or ever bas ?
Great thread op.
I was thinking perhaps the lack of intensity is due to poor fan support. The Washington crowd cheering for San Antonio was far more louder than these losers In San Antonio.
Spurs deserve a different city.
#MovetoAustin or #MovetoCanada
Agreed, move the team tbh
you bandwagon "fans". Canada (see Grizzlies). Go support the Warriors, they love the Asians.
we'll trade the lakers for the spurs tbh
Where do you live?
Yep, crickets...
Has this really been an ongoing issue with the Spurs home crowd for seasons?
I've only been to one game in San Antonio (I live on the east coast) and it was packed and full of excitement. But that was the season after they had just won a championship, so maybe that had something to do with it. But the guy I was sitting next to did say that his company has tons of season seats throughout the arena so that's mainly how he gets to go to games. I'm guessing a lot of locals aren't willing or can't afford the price for lower level seats on a regular basis and business gobble those up and they go to waste if they can't an employee or client to take the seats.
But over the last few seasons, I've been to Spurs games in Miami, DC, Brooklyn, & Philly and there were always a nice amount of Spurs fans but I felt like it was loudest in San Antonio.
imo it's the location, whoever was involved in deciding to put the ATT center in the middle of an industrial area on the ghetto ass east side of town are a bunch of ing re s
San Fatonio tbh
why would they wanna go watch a ballhogging autistic player who gets outplayed by Matt Barnes in the playoffs? LMAO
They must have that "regular season doesn't matter" mentality that so many of you seem to have, tbh..
I for 1, blame Tony Parker
It doesn't matter.
How can winning 40 out of 41 games be a "fluke"? Pretty sure that's the pinnacle of consistency...
The Spurs had just won their first le when the arena vote happened. The team was hoping to put the stadium right next to the Alamodome but the city of San Antonio kept trying to tag on all these bull projects they knew could never get passed on their own, but they figured San Antonio residents would just vote for the whole package since the team just rang a couple of months before. The Spurs were scared the vote would fail with all the pork the city added to the arena proposal so they went with Bexar County's proposal to put the arena on land the county owned right next to the Freeman Coliseum. It was funny hearing it sold as a neighborhood revitalization program when it was just more welfare for the rich. LOL 13 years later and the area is still ty and dead at night.
There are many rabid Spurs fans. Unfortunately, you will never see them in the lower deck, which is inundated by the extended pinky tea sipping elites of San Antonio.
This x100000!
