Ced was great before Vince. One of Mack's all-timers not playing him in the Oklahoma game his freshman year.
You got Vince Young running with him. Vince did not look like he was even trying. Probably an unfair contrast but it was obvious.

Ced's biggest asset was his consistency as a runner. He wasn't big, or fast, or dominate runner, he was consistent. He stuck around for 4 years and put up good numbers every year. I watched every game Ced played in, and I can't think of a single game where he completely dominated.
He never had that one big year like D'Onta just had, nor that one big game. His is more of a lifetime achievement award.
I came across the Rambo offer and began digging from there, somehow ended up on Manning's account (I had forgot about him as a target of ours) just went to his recent follows and was pleasantly surprised. So to answer your question, yes I guess I was...quite interesting how much love Herman seems to be receiving.
The distance between Earl /Williams and Benson is just a chasm. We need a lower level Rushmore I guess. Also, Leaks was incredibly consistent like Benson.Just did not have a good pro career.
Also, Benson has been involved in so many incidents almost every year... Ricky just flat out needed a little mental help IMO. May explain why Benson has not joined the family.
Appreciate the look around.
24/7 reporting UT coaches were in College Station today to see Houston commitment, CB Timarcus Davis.
No offer or in-home visit, but he thinks it may happen later on.
Two notes from 24/7...
-Coach Meekins was at Fort Bend Ridge Point today to see CB Terry Petry, 2018 TE Mustapha Muhammad and 2018 LB Chad Bailey.
-Coach Warehime stopped in Hooks to see ATH Montrell Estell.
Kid was a head case at Georgia State, hopefully got his act together.
Stat wise, there's not the chasm you think there is.
But that perception is there and will always be there. It's crazy tbh.

He did have this 5 td game that I will never forget. His all-purpose numbers were around 200.
The thing I remember about that game was how Vince Young dominated that game. It wasn't Ced's running as much as it was Vince being Vince.
