R.J. Hunter is in serious discussions on a deal with the Chicago Bulls, league sources tell The Vertical. Could finalize in next day.
McGary's young and may yet rehabilitate his career, but probably needs to do some damage control and show to be substance free.. no way Pop goes for a young guy with substance abuse problems.
Houston backed his decision on Ennis and waived Prigioni.

I'm not sure Europe or China is the best move for him but who knows. On one side you have no distractions, no bad influences around you and on there other are you running from your problems. Personally I'd like to see him earn his way back on the D League but the money is more substantial overseas. I hope he chooses what's best for him long-term and not a get rich quick scheme and then he can move to Colorado and retire. But it's up to him.
Still would love to have him if his head was in the right place. Looking forward to the D league draft though. I want Cousins.
Great fit for him there. He'll have a chance for minutes and with all the playmakers there, they need shooters.
Any PGs with a pulse out there?
Isaiah Cousins imo but we are set right now. Who you want to get rid of? Lol
Prigioni, who's 84 years old
Norris Cole went to China.. I posted a tweet about it. I think Pop's is happy with who he has. At some point maybe Lapro will see some time. He was playing very well, and he does space the floor...
Edy Tavares waived
I wonder if Caron Butler's phone is busy.
That's a lot of players who were decent only a few years ago.
What's the difference between the Unsigned and FA category? Aren't they both the same thing? Aren't all of those guys free agents able to sign anywhere?
I could be wrong, but I think for FA guys, some team has a cap hold on them.
Thanks. That probably is correct. So if a team has a cap hold on them, can they still sign with another team?
I believe it might open the door for sign & trade scenarios, but honestly, I'm not sure.
Cole is probably going to Memphis

Better than Laprivitolla. But Pop is loyal to Manu so most likely wont happen...but you wonder...I dont know the scene in china.
but getting released by a chinese ball club os ty no?
Motiejunas about to sign an offer sheet from BK. HOU has 3 days to match.
Underrated player, but big health concerns.
Maybe Norris Cole asked to be released? If he didn't, I'd like to know if it was due to poor play.
He might have asked for it..Memphis-bound?
Seriously they re kidding themselves thinking Forbes/Lapro can even fill in or some minutes the playoffs..At least Cole could give you solid 7-8 minutes, and he isn't a TOSB (28yo)..They need to look for a legit 3rd stringer PG with Tony chronic knee issues and his expected April/May falloff..I would prefer Felton , hopefully the Clippers release him..or imagine D-Will getting a buyout from a deep-in-tanking Mavs and signing here(he's one of Tony's buddies)..
That would be a bit of a F-U to Mills though, by signing D-Will. But I prefer D-Will over Parker. Yeh yeh, I know, who isn't worse than Parker. But it just won't happen.
Spurs should cut Lapro/Ander /Forbes and give a shot to someone killing it in the D-League.
Worth the risk when there can be gems like Whiteside, Danny Green, Kilpatrick, Frazier, JaMychal...
