Chick-fil-a
Just when I thought the right couldn't get more petty, and the upcoming administration more silly, the chief of staff's pet website has declared war on on of its ex-advertisers.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/breitbart...152042623.htmlBreitbart News is blasting the decision by Kellogg’s to pull its advertising from the far-right conservative website and encouraging its readers to boycott the breakfast cereal maker.
“For Kellogg’s, an American brand, to blacklist Breitbart News in order to placate left-wing totalitarians is a disgraceful act of cowardice,” Alex Marlow, Breitbart editor in chief, wrote in article published online Wednesday. “Boycotting Breitbart News for presenting mainstream American ideas is an act of discrimination and intense prejudice. If you serve Kellogg’s products to your family, you are serving up bigotry at your breakfast table.”
The top three stories leading Breitbart’s homepage on Thursday morning were about its declared war with Kellogg’s, including one en led: “#DumpKelloggs: Far-Left Cereal Giant Kellogg’s Warns of ‘Racial Privilege.’”
Talk about cry-babies.

I have to assume that based on all the you've posted in here over the last month that you're being ironic?
Are you suggesting that boycotting a company over it's choice of where to spend advertising dollars is of equal merit to boycotting a company over donations towards lobbying for specific legislation?
That seems like a pretty dumbed down take to me, but feel free to explain in more detail.
Wake me when the right needs an app to help them keep track of all the they're boycotting like the left does.

BOYCOTT TRUMP APP RANKS AMONG TOP 10 IN APP STORE
Self-described as “the nation’s largest grassroots anti-Trump organization,” the Democratic Coalition Against Trump claims they are “an arm of Keep America Great PAC and is the nation’s largest grassroots anti-Trump organization, with over 170,000 active supporters.”
Ad Week quoted the Boycott Trump app page stating that targets for banning are obvious choices such as Trump Towers and Trump Steaks. They go on to show Trump’s links to other companies such as Home Depot, Nike, Coors Light, and Gucci.
After being released for 10 days, Nate Lerner says that there were already 80,000 unique downloads for Boycott Trump at both the Android and iPhone app stores. Nate Lerner also explained that this has placed the Boycott Trump app in the “top 10 most popular lifestyle [category] apps – along with Zillow – for both the iPhone and Android.”

How "progressive" of you.
Many of these companies had no idea they were advertising on Breitbart. This is what you get with algorithm based advertising. Most of them would rather stay away from rabid political sites.
From 2013.

You research who you vote for before heading to the polls, so why wouldn’t you research where you chose to spend your money, thereby funding a company’s activism activity? That’s what Chris Walker wants to know and is also why he created a tool to help conservatives, who might not realize some of the places they choose to shop might be funding initiatives against their values.
2nd Vote was launched at the Value Voters’ summit last weekend as app that informs users about the political and social activity of the companies they might be giving their business to. After being featured on Glenn Beck’s program on TheBlaze TV Tuesday, Walker said a flurry of visitors “stressed our servers to capacity.”

Conservatives basically have no room to ever mock stupid boycotts as long as stuff like this exists.

"specific legislation"?
The boycott of Chick was about Chick's Christian Taliban hate-filled anti-LGBT stance, policies.
I'm sure Breitbart will not miss K's ad revenues, as the VRWC will certainly keep the Breitbart turd afloat in the VRWC sewer.
It's the only recourse they have.
There is a group targeting all advertisers of Brietbart. They are harassing them. They harassed Target and at least 45 other companies to drop advertisement.
Seems right to me to ask for such shameless companies to be boycotted.
Looks like it takes a crybaby to know...
Speaking of "hate-filled anti-LGBT stances," why didn't liberals boycott Hillary for taking money from countries where gay people are stoned to death or thrown off buildings?
What other countries do is their business, not ours. eg, Trash has no business threatening Cuba about how to run its internal affairs, or else he'll cancel Obama's opening to Cuba. (I'm sure Trash would love to build some luxury hotels and golf courses in Cuba)
Why don't US oil companies stop buying oil from Saudi Arabia?
boycotting, protesting Christian Sharia in USA is USA's business. Nobody else's.
Duterte has slaughtered 1000s of people extra-judicially, why does your boy Trash consider Duterte (or Putin) a friend?
That's funny, I seem to recall our sitting president going to Britain last summer to campaign against Brexit. If Brexit was our business, then why aren't Hillary's top donors' beliefs and actions our business? At least Hillary is directly related to our country.
If they're shameless for reacting to a boycott then what are you hoping to accomplish with your boycott?
They're not shameless for reacting to a boycott. They're shameless for ignoring their own company's racism problem while smearing conservatives as bigots. They're also shameless for whipping up a political controversy to distract everyone from how they got caught using child labor.
How are they whipping up controversy? They pulled their advertising from controversial content. This happens literally every day in advertising. It's only "controversy" because Breitbart and its readers got completely
butthurt
about it.
"I know you are but what am I?"
