Holy , I didn't know there was a sequel to The Last of Us in development. I wonder if that's going to end up being a 2018 release?

The Last Guardian looks like a PS3 game, which I guess makes sense since it was supposed to come out in 2011.

You're slowing being consumed by the dark side
Too many games I want to play that aren't/won't be on PC.
The Last of Us
God of War III
God of War IV
Bloodborne
Uncharted series
Days Gone
Red Dead Redemption 2
Journey
Plus most of the good PS3 games I didn't ever play are getting 60 fps remasters. I just ordered a PS4 Slim from newegg for $255 with Uncharted 4, so not a bad deal to get the system for essentially $195 (as I was getting Uncharted 4 either way). I don't think the Pro is worth $400 though, not with that crap CPU in it.
It's blood in, blood out in the Master Race
Holy Mother of God..Last of Us 2 is here..Easily the best 8th generation game of all time.
Not sure if I'm digging the butch Ellie design, but my God the game looks wonderful. I had no Idea PSX even had an event today. Probably still a couple years from now since they're still tied up to 4 and the new DLC for Uncharted.
Apperently, Naughty dog is changing the engine for Last of us. They wont be using the uncharted engine anymore so that means it might take up more time and also a massive change in gameplay.
TLOU online was amazing. Risky move though.
Already have a gopd idea of the story just by seeing the trailer though.
I thought Journey was on PC?
box one exclusives
buying box cause Mirucah!!!
What's up with all the PoorStation fans so excited about The Last Guardian? That game looks so ugly and boring in every trailer I have seen, but supposedly it's killing in pre-orders.
The Last Guardian was one of most hyped up game for early ps3 days IIRC. Its the same guys that made shadow of the colosus for PS2 and that was a very popular ps2 game. Never played this game so never really got into the whole hype.
It's mostly nostalgia though. The mechanics from the trailer looks early ps3ish...Its most likely going to dissappoint. Japanese story tellers are usually and the gameplay looks outdated.
Purely nostalgia for Shadow of Colouses.
Yeah that game screams 2008 by the way it looks. I gotta disagree with you on Japanese storytelling. Man you never played Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy VI, Okami, or Chrono Trigger? I thought those were all incredible.
Missed this . Give me a link to the whole show .
I never got into this series for some reason. Or I would probably be one of those thirsty fans for the game.
But if its anything like being a Shemnue fan and never getting to see an ending to the series then I can relate. Now both games are getting a third game. Pretty exciting tbh.

The Last of Us 2 trailer at around 4 hrs, 19 minutes
Damn over 5 hours? All about game trailers and ? Might have to watch it in parts. Thanks scrah.
It seems like this video has interviews and between the trailers and the people on stage speaking. When I was watching it live on IGN's channel it seemed like it moved faster, though I'm not sure how far into it I joined. I jumped in a little before the trailer for The Last Guardian.
The first hour and a half is the showcase
Don't own a next gen console but lately i've been playing the Modern Warfare remake on my brother's PS4 quite a bit and gotta say the Xbox controller and interface are light years ahead of the Playstation.
The dualshock 4 is the biggest piece of trash controller i've ever played with. Analog sticks feel too loose, the material they're made of offers no grip, are not concave enough and as usual are in the middle of the controller, which is trash for shooters. Also, a controller with a built in speaker might just be one of the most useless features i've ever seen on a console, same with the light on top of the controller. Battery life is short, probably thanks to the couple of features i just mentioned. Triggers are better on the Xbox as well.
The interface is all over the place, not intuitive and streamlined at all like the Xbox dashboard. You have to go trough way too many menus and even loading times to do the simplest stuff like sending invites to in game and chat parties.
Don't know why everyone is on Sony's this gen, i guess it all comes down to exclusives.
Aside from the exclusives, XBox One was just a huge up from the very beginning. It had a worse cpu and worse gpu than PS4 but cost $100 more at launch because of all the Kinect bull . I mean the PS4 is pretty underpowered, but the XBox One can't even play games at 1080p. Plus Microsoft was trying to market it as a media center the way people used the Wii (surely you remember the embarrassing XBox One reveal where they talked about TV 85% of the event) and they pissed a lot of people off by wanting to force the system and its games to be online all the time. Also, as a PC gamer XBox holds no interest whatsoever for me since every XBox One game is from here on out supposed to come out on PC.
Ofcourse everything is about exclusives. box is massivly outmatched. I mean the greatest Game of this generation is PS4 exclusive.
My God, you can't consider yourself a true gamer without playing TLOU. Its hands down the best game for both the last gen and this current gen for any platform. The Multiplayer was 10/10 the single player was GOAT etc.
box one![]()
Also you can get a freaking PS4 now for 250 dollars...Get the remaster TLOU and just call it a day.
They also didn't allow you second hand selling your games, remember? You bought the disc and then you couldn't sell it.
I don't know what ever happened to that.
Just finished it. Solid showing.
I want to see some God of War 3 tomorrow though.
Bloodborne is an amazing game, and it's worth the price of a PS4 alone.
