Tough visit to the Lakers birthplace, looks like the first L away is coming. Hopefully future Spur Karl-Anthony Towns has a slump.
Go espuelas
No Parker today.
T-Wolves have a horrible record and this should be a W for us, but wouldn't be surprised if we struggle. I expect KAT to have a huge game against us. The matchup with him and Dedmon should be interesting.

Expecting a blowout loss tonight. T-Pups will be looking to make a statement about turning their season around only to lose the next four games.
Wolves at home have been decent. They are putting up points so SA will have to score tonight. Also their record is sort of deceiving. They aren't a good team, but their differential is really low but their record reflects that of a team with a really negative differential.
hmmm
The Spurs with their bad defensive starts and sleepwalking in the first half would be a mistake:
From
- The Spurs are 4-1 on the second game of a back-to-back this season.
- Minnesota is 1-6 when scoring less than 100 points.
- The Wolves have lost five games this season in which they built leads of 14-plus points.
- The Wolves rank fourth in the NBA in 1st-half offensive rating (112.6).
- The Wolves are 4-1 when leading or tied after three quarters.

5 things to watch: Spurs vs. Timberwolves http://news4sanantonio.com/sports/spurs-zone/5-things-to-watch-spurs-vs-timberwolves-12-06-2016 … #gospursgo #spurs
I think it should be a win, but only if they keep the Timberwolves in check. It will require Pop maneuvering lineups and guys again. The one problem they can have is that the Wolves have better shooting than the Bucks and all the wide open jumpers Spurs have been giving up, have a better chance of going in. It has the potential to resemble that Jazz game where everyone was making shots from 3 and buried the Spurs at home. I am hoping they bring it from the opening tip and not let up.
This probably.
I expect Ricky Rubio to shoot like he can see the basket tonight.
Bertans 26pts 11rbs 5blks
Book it!!
Tough game to read..Wolves are poor defensively, mainly due to their big 3, but the Spurs don't really have the pieces to exploit Lavine(Danny can't create) and Towns(Pau probably won't be able to stay on the floor due to his defense)..
Minnesota has the worst bench in the Western Conference(2nd worst in the L behind the Wizards, statistically), which will probably be the difference in the game IMO, even if Manu sits..Mills, Simmons, Lee and Dedmon is still a quality bench rotation..
Nostalgia, Ultra

Wonder who plays tonight?
![]()
This feels like a law of averages game: Spurs actual record is 3 games better than their expected one; Timberwolves actual record is 3 games worse than their expected one.
Many seem to think the Spurs have a lot of room for improvement, but maybe they're just not that good and their inability to control games starts to catch up to them.
Tony is out so I'm expecting a loss, but who knows.
Canyonero clearing the path to victory.![]()
Playing on b2b when last night's game was a nail-biter obv hurts us. But I still think we'll keep it compe ive, even if we do lose.
If everyone but Tony plays they'll have a chance, but I'm expecting more players to be out tonight. Wouldn't be surprised if even Kawhi gets the night off.
Ricky Rubio gonna stroke that jumpshot like he's Steph Curry tonight, per usual against the Spurs.
