I have no idea who this guy is but people were giving Daft Punk for working with him
I pretty much hate all new pop music. But I dig this guy's stuff. I'm not sure how much of the music he writes but some of those bass lines are killer.

I agree with your sentiment. I like his older work, namely his Trilogy album from 2012. Good music to to, tbh..

He's shaping up to be a pretty good greatest hits artist but his albums are hard to slog through. The new one is pretty boring aside from the DP collaborations.
His best work was his early EPs because they were short. His albums since then have been too long.
Avante would mix Daft Punk with a touch of Penguin Cafe Orchestra whilst staying up at night to get lucky in the Philippines.
And he did not have to wait all night.
