Balt beat Pitt at home, while NE has beaten nobody, as that Pitt game they won was without Big Ben. NE is a fraud per par playing in a crappy division with an easy schedule. Denver hasn't really beaten anyone, either, and that NE @ DEN game (Nuggets should be favored) should determine a lot. TB isn't that good.
It's not his fault that he has the tiest ownership, coaching staff, training staff and medical staff in the league. He's only 8 games into his career and is already producing at such a dominant level that teams have started blatantly holding him on every down, just like they do to Watt, Von Miller, et al. I think he could win DROY, even without the playoffs. It's happened before.
But DPOY has to go to a playoff player, especially someone more deserving like Miller, Mack, Peters, maybe even Landon Collins. Before he got injured, Claiborne would have had a chance.
