    John Gruden? Yes.

Radio head was floating Nick Saban. No way he leaves Bama imo.
    Ditto Harbaugh.

    Premier market gig.
Not sure if they can keep the worthless Spanos out of L.A., but even better if the Rams can continue to solo market L.A. for at least a few more years.

I think it's too late for Gruden, he's been out of it for too long. And if he wasn't willing to leave the booth to coach the Raiders (when he loved Carr coming out of the draft), I don't see him going to coach for the Rams.

They'll just need to rip an offensive coordinator from some other team and hope he pans out. Kyle Shanahan possibly.

Hopefully it's someone with some offensive a en. That game yesterday was putrid to see since we're subjected to watching Rams' games in L.A. It was like the team quit on Fisher midway through this season and probably last year prior to the move. I understand the need to keep status quo whilst you move the team, but his record prior to the return to L.A. didn't seem to warrant the job security. I think it has an upside of locale, talent on the defensive side, and some pieces on the O that could entice someone. But that OL is trash and that would be the first thing to address in the off season. Though, not through the draft. They'll have to look to FA to bolster that line.

The Rams just need to schedule the Seahawks 10 times a year, and voila--playoffs achieved

Got to be a big marquee name imo.

I know he is long retired, but ever wonder why post Chargers Marty Schottenheimer, rebuilder extraordinaire was not offered mega bucks by a loser to rebuild?

Because franchises want their rebuilds to lead to deep playoff runs and championships, not chokejobs and mediocrity. Also, Marty is a 73-year-old TOSB.

He was fired in Jan of 2007, Porkchop. Age 64. I mean more offers since then, not necessarily now moving forward.
And I said rebuild. Of which he is arguably among if not the NFLs best.
3 teams brought from stank to playoffs.
My plan would be hire him on a two year deal. He works his Marty Rebuild magic. Since he admittedly sucks in the playoffs, both parties part on friendly terms after he takes the doormat Rams to 9-7 and then 13-3 with a 1st round loss.

I'm guessing Josh McDaniels or Matt Patricia. It's been awhile since a Belichick assistant got the opportunity to run a franchise into the ground.

So Marty did win a 'ship.

..... after leading the Chargers to a 14–2 record but a disappointing second round loss. He later emerged as the head coach of the Virginia Destroyers of the United Football League, where he would win his only championship as a coach in his lone season there.

Yeah, I'm sure it was really difficult for Marty to win there.

I know nothing about the league.

But I'll bet avoiding a choke was difficult for Marty.
    Breakthru!
    Congrats Marty!

I would surmise it would have to be something to entice the fans. They hae PSL to sell for the new stadium and a fan base that is fickle in its support. I'm guessing they'll reach out to everyone. Who will take the mentioned 10 mil a year to clean the mess Fisher left?

Kyle Shanahan would be my choice i guess...maybe. Idk.
It'd be nice to rip Sean Payton from the Saints but those defenses have been mostly trash since bounty gate and GW left. I'd rather my team field a strong D and a middle of the pack O than the other way around.
Josh McDaniel knows offense and knows how to up a roster. Matt Patricia is interesting but the chowder wizard's coaching tree hasn't had much success.

My gut says it'll be Gruden. Meh.

Jon Gruden is who they should hire. Way too early to get a real read on any rookie QB. But, bringing in a vet...Tony Romo?...to teach the kid the pro game, hmmmm? Romo playing, kid watching.

    Good D, stud RB, hmmmm?

    Gruden tailor made for LA.

Never ever miss a turnoff in LA, trust me.

If Gruden is on the fence, Rams should break the bank to get him.
An investment amount like they have already made? The end would justify the means.
