Guys like myself who know sprinting consider Houston Mctear to be the naturally fastest human ever, yep, faster than Usain Bolt. While just a HS junior he ran a world record 9.0 for 100 yards, that is amazing, actually hard to believe but it did happen.

The book on the kid was that he was dumb and lazy, and he was. So to run like he did while not putting in the work is also hard to believe. He was also a great footballer averaging over 13 yards a carry while at Baker HS in Florida. Speaking of Florida, the U of Florida tried to recruit hm but he didn't have the grades. He ended up out here in Cali at SMCC, that's where I saw him run (Fresno) he wowed the crowd coming from way back on a 4x2 anchor.

So here he is destroying a star studded field in his best event the 60m.




He would break or tie six indoor WR's in six meets.

Mel Pender was a 64/68 Olympian at 100m, and himself a 60 WR holder back in the old yards days.
