I say this as a man.... dont go to "chain" barbers. Doesn't matter if the employee's are black, white, Hispanic, whatever.... Chain barbers are ing , all that gimmicky bull too (TV's, hot towels, ect.).... You might as well be getting a cut at a barber school but you are paying a premium, that's all those "chain" shops are. Do yourself a favor and find a local family owned barber shop and stick with them. Been using the same barber family since I was in ing diapers. Grew up with the owners kids and now am practically royalty at the shop. Literally, 36 years with the same Barber family. I can go in and get a cut on credit and pay them back later because we are tight. I can get a proper straight razor shave if I want, random people come in and see that and get denied that service. Trust is earned in a proper barber shop.......... and the friends you make talking smack, holy .....
