Word! However our 'bright spots' transcend more than a 'few.' I think Kawhi alone is reason to be optimistic. Also Patty and Dedmon have been looking good. You had some good points this game- with mainly 'I'm a fan of the team' being the standout. I think it's easy to rag on different players from time to time, but in the end either your with the Spurs or not! Still I get why people criticize on ST- it's just the nature of this place.

The most important "word!"![]()
No doubt. There's criticisms, and there's SpursTalk which takes it to a different level. Criticism is cool... Hate and what not seems foolish to me.
Patty/Dedmond/Lee and I'd throw Simmons there since he's been better, though not nearly as consistent as the others. Kawhi has been very good. That's why I'm optimistic about us in general. Lots of room to improve
Yep! Agree about Simmons. The energy of the afore mentioned guys are indeed reason to be optimistic. Lots of room to improve which is good as long as we do. There was a saying by Mike Tyson's trainer "Don't leave the fight in the gym!" I think it's a great analogy for the regular season.
I don't take this forum stuff as seriously as you do. Sorry, bean er.
All those empty seats on a nationally televized game![]()
Surprising Pop hasnt played the Mills-Green-Kawhi-Dedmon-Lineup more...seems like a lineup that any coach should be experimebtinf with for good stretches.
in a 4th quarter of a close game..most embarrassing home crowd of a contender...
Kawhi has never been a high jumper but man you forget how even an average jumper like kawhi can still jump pretty darn high. Look at that elevation for an average NBA jumper![]()
Sadly, all signs are pointing to Dedmon getting the 2011 Splitter treatment..Heck, Lee played double his minutes tonight..
Where the is everybody?
Its lile this every spurs game.
You two obviously don't go to the games.
Its the same pattern almost every weekday game. Those seats are sold. The fat cats will come late and leave early if they even come.
And thinking that a nationally televised game will influence attendance for a weekday...
You don't know the city. Up higher in the cheaper seats we have a full load of fans that buy season tickets and probably barely have $ for Xmas. SA is a large poor city in comparison to most of the cities that only have one professional sports team. The fat cats not showing up is very evident in a small venue with the cameras at exactly the same level as those corporate seats.
We know ot's sold out.
It's the fact that these faatasses dont come to games.
Its not like the SA changed demographics from 1999-010..San Anotion is just trash.
Game Grades will be up in an hour or so.
I'm telling you guys, half of them are eating in the lobby or racing to the local Taco Cabana for extra beer and chow.
