What's hurting Seattle is Arizona. Where are they in 2016? So the Seahawks have known they've had that division wrapped up for weeks now. There is no need to bring the A game every week.
Once again we see rookies over reacting to...A..game, ha~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No the Cowboys don't all of a sudden suck, no the Seahawks don't all of a sudden suck, ok? , just a few weeks ago it was...what's wrong with Rodgers and Green Bay...right? What did the Buc's do early on? Remember the 5-0 Vikes?
Slow down little people, ok?
These teams play hard to make the playoffs, so once they do, guess what? I really have to tell you people that? Teams trying to make the playoffs will do what?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Remember me talking up Towson's Terrance West? I wasn't talking about him being the next Jim Brown, it was can he make it in the NFL coming from that level of football. well he's the starting RB for the Ravens, so I guess he made it.
A team that just fired their head coach starting a rookie QB on the road on a short week in Seattle with the Seahawks coming off an embarrashing loss, talk about a "spot", here it is.
The Cowboys are in a unique situation, don't recall ever seeing it like this. There stands Tony Romo with the best team Dallas has had in awhile, on the sideline watching a rookie play. This cannot be a good thing for that team. This....what could Tony do? While Prescott is having a great season, so has Tony Romo in the past. How with a rookie inexperience help a playoff team? While there stands a guy who holds how many Cowboy records?
Is this situation going to nip the Cowboys in the butt?
I do see the Buc's either winning or losing a close one.
Danny White holds some records too but no one's clamoring for him to take Dak's job. Maybe Romo could do a better job in some situations. But the last thing you want to do now is change QB and have Romo go out on the first play. ESPECIALLY if you want to keep Dak around a long time. Pull him out now and they'll be a reckoning come contract time.
That being said, I don't put it past Jerry Jones to find the best way to all of this up for now and the future.
As far as Danny White goes.
A team needs a QB, ya can't be....if the young guy messes up. yes he's going to mess up, he's a.....ROOKIE~~~
This is a bad sitation this season, but a great situation down the road. Prescott is going to be a great NFL QB with time.
The best thing that could have happened was Romo nevrer came back in 2016.
This was just too damn easy.
Me: Hey Crickets...what's your favorite spot
Avante: Gotta pay attention to snow days. Sometimes, they let the kids out and don't inform the parents in a timely manner. So...you'll have...several children either waiting outside the school or walking home without mom and dad knowing they are even out.
Me...do you have any idea what a 20.00 really is at 200m?
You....all I know is as a middle school kid I ran that, maybe faster.
Me....so you are faster than the great Bob Hayes, who ran a 20.5?
You....and in middle school.
Me...do you get speed endurance and how someone that young simply couldn'y possess the threshold tthe capacity to possess the level of SE a 20.00 requires?
You...I ed yo mama.
Totally owned, hahahaha~~~~
I guess I should back off and let ya talk your stupid , but....nay~~~~
Tampa Bay + 7
Who disagrees?
A team playing for thier playoff life getting 7 vs a team more concerned with injury, perfect "spot".
Imagine the defense totally stacked to stop one RB (actually a FB) and he still averages over 5 yards a carry and a 100 yards in every game. That is amazing.
I've never seen anyting like this since....
The speed of Tyreek Hill has everyone talking. What's funny is there has always been guys like Hill in the NFL some even faster.
Obviously he's a football player who just happens to be fast, not a track guy trying to play football. Yep, just like Bob Hayes who was first and foremost a footballer. A running back in HS/FAMU.
Hill's best event on the track was the 200m, which tells us he has long range jets, a 100 yards is nothing to him.
I'm not going to count Tommie Smith, Jimmie Hines. Frank Budd, Ray Norton, (Olympic sprinters) they were sprinters they tried to make footballer, it didn't work.
When it comes to footballer/sprinter.
Al Time NFL 200m.
lane
1.Michael Bates Seahawks/Arizona....Olympic bronze
2.Henry Carr Giants/ASU..Olympic gold
3.Bob Hayes Cowboys/FAMU...WR 20.5
4.Tyreek Hill Chiefs/Okie State, West Alabama...HS 20.13
5.James Jett Raiders/WV
6.James Trapp Raiders/Clemson
7.Jerome Mathis Texans/Hampton
8.Larry Burton Saints/Purdue...Olympic final
Christian McCaffrey leaving Stanford before their bowl game, hmmmmmm? As did Leonard Fournette. Both more concerned with themselves than their team. What message is that sending to the NFL? I think it's...ME..ME..and..ME.
Yes, we are all worried about self first but that does come in degrees. And it won't work in a sport like football. There has never been any RB who is doing without his line. They are working their ass off for the team. No QB doing if he doesn't have protection. So ll these stud QB's/RB's are doing what they do because of .....the team. You don't bail on them because of....ME, ME, ME. You finish your commitment to them and the school.
McCaffrey has "good" speed, but it's not the burner he appears to be. He's not as fast Reggie Bush was. Yes he ran track, he was nothing special. At NFL level I'd make slot receiver out of him who does get a few "out in space" carries as a RB. Plant the seed....run? receive?
translation
You told me my Saints wouldn't make the playoffs, I wouldn't listen, so now I'm pouting like the little I am.
I get it hurts being taken to school, you'll get over it.
The fast white NFLer. Inspired by Christian McCaffrey. (his grandpa Dave Sime might have been the fastest white American ever)
The fastest paleface to ever play pro football was a 9.3 (WR 9.1) sprinter out of SMU named John Roderick, he was a Dolphin. He flopped.
No Welker, Edelman, Woodhead are not fast, they are quick. Tim Dwight a 10.33 cat while at Iowa was fast.
Billy Cannon was a legit 9.5 while at LSU.
"Mr. Outside" for Army Glenn Davis ran a 9.6
Tennesse footballer/110hher Richmond Flowers ran a 9.4.
While no real track expoits to speak of, it's real obvious they could motor.
Jordy Nelson and Jeff Janis
Sonny Randle Cards
Don Beebe Bills
Travis Jervey Packers
Roger Carr Colts
Don Maynard Jets
Hugh "The King" McElhenny Niners
"Jaguar" Jon Arnett Rams
Lance Alworth Chargers.....McCaffrey reminds me of him.
While in HS John Riggins won Kansas State in a 9.8, but he was a lot lighter then than his NFL days.
While all those guys mentioned could scoot, none of them were "great" sprinters. Roderick never did anything on a national/world level.
That list of black speedsters in the NFL would have over dozen Olympians on it, yep, a whole other level.
Grandpa Dave Sime. in lane one. He was better in 1956 but injuries did him in, he had beaten the 56 Olympic champ Bobby Morrow many times.
Lyle Lovett the starter.
World Rankings 1956
19561................................Bobby Morrow (US)10...................... Abdul Khaliq (Pakistan)
2..................................... Dave Sime (US)
BYU is not known for RB's, well they have one now, Jamaal Williams. Remember that name, this guy is a load.
Williams is a bit rare, a big fast black RB from.......Montana...????
No no no, not saying he's the next Jim Brown or headed to the HOF, ok?
Wyoming also has a stud RB in Brian Hill.
As we know a lot of great NFLers from schools on that level.
In the mid 80's a kid from Roosevelt HS in Dallas named Roy Martin ran a 20.13 200m to shatter the 200m HS record, that record stood until 2016, when Virginia's Noah Lyles ran a 20.09. But.....in all those years from the mid 80's until 2016 only one HS sprinter had ever came anywhere close to breaking that 20.13 HS record....yep, Tyreek Hill at 20.14.
This kid has long range speed, he can cook a 100, something really not that easy to do. He is a footballer who ran track.
Sometime in the playoffs he will....WOW~~~....us all again.
The real deal as you can see.
On May 26, 2012, at the 36th Golden South Classic in Orlando, Florida, Hill ran a new season-best in the 100 m (10.19) and a PR in the 200 m (20.14).[3] His time in the 200 m missed Roy Martin's 1985 national high school record by only one hundredth of a second. It was the fastest time by a junior athlete in the 2012 season and the fastest by a junior since Ramil Guliyev's 20.04 in 2009. His time in the 100 m ties Abraham Hall for second fastest by a junior in the 2012 season, behind only Adam Gemili. He was Track and Field News "High School Athlete of the Year" in 2012.[4] Hill also clocked a 4.25 40-yard dash at a Nike Sparq Camp.[citation needed] Hill ran a wind-assisted (+5.0 m/s) 9.98 in the 100-meter dash at the 2013 Hutchinson NJCCA Championships.[5]
Michael Benett said....
Zach Zenner is the best white running back in the NFL.
....and there are people having problems with that?
Since the late 50's and the emergence of the black RB how many stud white RB's have we seen, a dozen or so?
