Haha, bizarre.
Said he'd commit to Texas on the spot.
That was quick...

I really wonder Herman/Giles are going to do with DT's in this class. 2018 looks good for Texas as of right now, but 2017 looks rather problematic. Someone mentioned Corey Bethley (Katy) as a possibility. I could see them turn to Joshua Rogers (Houston Christian), who holds an offer from Houston (as well as Oklahoma, Ole Miss and A&M) despite being ranked as the 122nd prospect in Texas.
Looks like Sooners had some tricks up there sleeves to take some heat off the whole Mixon situation...onward we go. Ags been trolling the same way announce they receive Texas offers then bash Texas by reaffirming their commitments. Interesting strategy by some rivals a lot of me thinks is being provoked by the coaches of these schools. We'll see who gets the last laugh going to be scary if Herman can crack the code on the problem our program had had of late.
Todd Orlando to be DC, per Sports Illustrated.
"Sources" claims a 3 year deal worth 1M+ a year.

OrangeBloods reporting DT Zacchaeus McKinney no longer plans to officially visit UT in January.
If we keep all the DTs we signed last year, I could care less if we don't sign one this cycle. However it does put a little pressure on us to sign a couple in 2018. I pretty feel the same way about the Oline, except I think we should probably get at lease one guy.
Per his Twitter, Texas has offered DE Dayo Odeyingbo of Irving Ranchview.
Committed to Vanderbilt and camped with UT this past summer.

24/7 hearing UT may not have much of a shot here due to Odeyingbo's older brother currently playing for Vanderbilt.
OrangeBloods reporting Texas could be back in it for RB Toneil Carter.
Apparently Georgia is no longer allowing him to enroll early and he wouldn't have much of an opportunity for immediate playing time with two of their RBs (Chubb and Michel) recently deciding to return for their senior seasons.
Expected. He might carve out a nice career. He has the ideal build and we all know he doesn't shy from contact.
Does he have a Texas offer?
If he does, nobody is reporting it.
This guy has troll all over him.
I'm thinking Arkansas here just a hunch...
TE Reese Leitao decommitted from Nebraska last night. Visited Texas recently.
RB Toneil Carter Decommits. Texas/Baylor thought to be possible destination at this time:
FYI, Carter is an early enrollee. Things should move pretty quick with him.
