That kid is lightning quick.
I have no idea how he got out of some of the situations he found himself in.
Per 24/7, UT is close to offering ATH Chris Miller of Denton High.
He's currently committed to Colorado as a CB, but a UT offer would be at WR.

What a , hope he picks Oklahoma so we can kick his ass for the next 4 years.
Interesting quote from A&M's 24/7 site on JUCO CB Kendall Sheffield:
"Look, if Sheffield hasn't made a decision in favor of A&M by now, he is going to Texas. That's got to be pretty clear."
OrangeBloods saying 2018 S Jordan Moore of Yoakum is still scheduled to make his commitment on Christmas Eve, but there's talk that A&M has made a very strong push lately.
This is getting ugly for OU. I hope they get the death sentence like SMU back in the day...then all their future recruits enroll at UT. Hook 'em Horns!!![]()
Kliff has promised he'll stay at QB but I just don't see how.
Taylor Hamm just CB Kendall Sheffield to Texas. In my mind, he hasn't been a realistic option until maybe today.
I wouldn't mind Sheffield as he would be here for maybe one year max two.
Per 24/7, RB Daniel Young of Spring Westfield will officially visit UT on January 13th.
This could be a race for the last RB spot as Eno Benjamin will be committing at the U.S. Army Bowl on January 7th.
In my opinion if there has ever been a silent commit it's Chuck Filiaga and that school is Michigan. We've had a few misses at OL position why don't they go after Stephan Zabie? Whatever happened in this recruitment is he still a viable option as a local ATX product?
^^^Levi Jones for that matter seems that we have some key positions of néed yet we don't make an effort to fill them with talented local guys. Haven't heard a lick about either one of these guys is there a reason?
Jones' father, who's always been outspoken, tweeted after Strong was fired that Texas lost their only shot of getting Levi.
Herman was in attendance when he got ejected from the Lake Travis / Westlake playoff game.
Zabie losing his eligibility for his senior year and having to sit out an entire season has made his recruitment go dark, so who knows there.
The Jones don't like Herman and were quite verbal about it on social media. No need for the staff to waste their time with them.
he has potential as he improved as a pocket passer this year, but he will definitely redshirt. His one potential downfall is that he seems to have brittle ankles.
WR Damion Miller will be in Austin for his official visit on January 20th, per 24/7.
Was aware of the situation with Zabie just didn't know if they were leaving the door open for him in case no better options pan out. As far as Levi goes I had no clue his family didn't like Herman.
Quick quote from 2018 DE Max Wright of Katy Taylor (24/7):
“A lot of top guys from Houston in my class told me that Texas would be their No. 1 school,” Wright said. “They love coach Herman. They just want to see him win.”
Notes on JUCO CB Kendall Sheffield (24/7):
-A&M is feeling like they're almost completely out of it.
-Ohio State wants to take two more DBs and Sheffield is one of three options, including S Jeffrey Okudah.
-while Sheffield hasn't visited UT and hasn't had much contact with Herman and his staff, he visited Houston multiple times and he's close with DB William Jackson who was drafted in the first round out of UH.
-they don't know how serious of a contender Texas is at this point, but the interest from Sheffield is legitimate.
