parker gets his assists from passing the ball to a jump shooter. cp3 creates easier opportunities than that.
kawhi has to WORK on offense while parker gets to be as leisurely as he wants with the ball... and then gets to chill on defense

The Spurs have tried that and the Clippers dare them to shoot. Unfortunately they either rotate quick enough to make it not matter or the Spurs' shooter misses the shot. Duncan was able to make it not matter because he took it to DeMonkey regularly but now the team just doesn't have that guy who can consistently play strong in the post.

They have gotten themselves into a real roster bind, and they will not bite the bullet and make any "big" moves no matter how necessary they might be in order to retool.

And that right there is the problem. You've definitely alluded to it in the past, but goes to show how reliant this team still is on Manu and Parker. I can't take this team seriously as a le contender regardless if they put it together. Their ceiling isn't as high as some may think on here. Simmons also not being able to fill in Manu's spot is not surprising, but still frustrating.
