Anderson trying to steal some of Simmons' minutes.
    Nah
I think he's in Pop's doghouse but the guy can play basketball.
    It's a loss he's been benched.
He was having games like this last season too. This loss is not on him.

Simmons is a super-tease. He takes a certain number of steps forward and then a certain number of steps backward. But if you put the VCR on FAST FORWARD, it just looks like he is standing still.

The Clippers essentially scored on every PnR that involved Paul/Jordan or Speight/Felton.
106 pts on 46%. I said "not that bad", not "good". And like I said, the horrible offense hurt the defense.

Loved to see the fight Kawhi brought in the second half.

    Simmons put great effort.

Lee outplayed all the bigs. I love lee, thought he was a steal, but this bodes bad for the spurs if he's the best big.

Dedmon showed why he is what he is. Low minute second unit burst. He has very little offensive game, and can be negligible when his defensive assignment is a shooter.

LMA needs to remember how to score pretty soon. I like his effort on the boards, but his low scoring games are becoming inexcusable. He's getting wide open shots. You can have bad shooting phases, if this persists another 10 games I'll worry. Not too much now.

Danny has not been consistent, and is making weird decisions on defense. Not used to that.

Anderson doesn't seem to have a place on this team. He really seems out of it on both ends of the court. Guy just never developed physically towards being a big or quicker. Still plays like a rookie when his strength is supposed to be his IQ.

Pau may have a legitimate concern come trade deadline. Pop wants defense above all else. It's unfortunate because his personality meshes well with this group, but his productivity doesn't.

Murray is one exciting kid. Normally you don't last long I'd you can't shoot at the NBA level. Kid is so elite at slashing, I doubt it'll keep him out. Showed up on the boards and defense as well. Good showing.

Pop really doesn't time a dang about these games. I really am curious to his aim though. Is trying to get them to learn how to communicate? Lead? Overcome bad positions? No telling but they're getting plenty of experience at odd situations.

As we all know, Pop ships in nationally televised games. Wait for the playoffs to see the spurs actually play.

Got outplayed by Murray straight from the D-League.
Murray outplayed Mills as well. At least Parker contributed something with 3 assists.

Pop should call himself out for consistently getting bent over by Glenn Rivers.
At this point what coaching adjustments can be made when they are just throwing up crap ass shots and making them
Anyone happen to watch Bill and Sean? Wanna hear what they had to say on this fest.

I don't even feel angry at the loss tbh; just a calm acceptance that this team is going to flame out in a spectacular way early on in the postseason.

There is one bright side to this game: Murray looks ing legit. Dude looks like he can get to the basket anytime he wants. With that lenght he is going to be a big impact player.
Yep. Start him. Seriously, we ain't winning with a broken down Enrique. Pop benched Avery for Enrique, time to do the same here.

3 years without Parker leading the team in scoring...3 years without a deep playoff run. Probably just a coincedence tbh.

Kawhi's been offensively tonight, same with the rest of the team. But at least he's trying. Just not our night. Just tip your cap and move on.
He had the defense collapsing on him every time he drove since Doc essentially ignores Porker.

Just hope Poker raptures his achilles b/c Pop isn't benching him even if he shot averaged 1 pt the rest of the season.

The game was on KENS tonight, just forgot to change the channel back to it after halftime . Also, it's been well do ented that Pop has been an awful coach for the most part since 2015; he continues to just push the wrong buttons and that's when he can be bothered to make a change to things that are just not working.

Trying something different against that CP3/DJ high pick n roll would be a good start.

Let's start Murray. Maybe his 4 pts, 0 ast on 40% shooting in garbage time against the 3rd unit will translate to 20/10 on 53% shooting against first units.

Tony could get back to leading the team in scoring - if Kawhi would start averaging 9 points a game. Do you not get that he was 1 of 8 tonight? He was trying to score. He just couldn't. He'd have to shoot 40 shots a game to lead the team in scoring.

    Manu 0-9 - the same.

Oh, and Parker doesn't make $16 million. Not sure where you get that.
BOTH OF THEM STINK!!!! Parker ing sucks now. He offers nothing when he's not hitting wide open shots. Defense has always been trash and now he can't blow past his defender. So what is he offering other than helping break in basketballs better by all of his dribbling?

Pop clearly doesn't give a because all of his guys have rings now. But there are no right moves when the clippers play like they did today. Everyone who guarded Paul got touch fouls, and mbah a moute once again decided to forget he's Because some asshole white guy with a beard must have pillaged his village so seeing pop on the floor triggers him.

I felt that way about him early on. Murray has moves and instincts you can't teach imo. Spurs need him this season because of Parker already struggling.
He looks rejuvenated... maybe he can give some tips to Porker, tbh
His BBIQ is probably better than Parker, looks faster now too.

Patty Mills struggling tonight hurt us a lot also. I'm a huge Dedmon supporter, but he struggled at times out there tonight also.

If Mills isn't getting 30+ minutes in the playoffs over Parker, we will not get any further than the WCF.

106 pts on 46%. I said "not that bad", not "good". And like I said, the horrible offense hurt the defense.
They were playing the bench unit the entire 4th quarter & didn't have an issue getting good looks until the final minute. It was the Austin Rivers ISOs that stalled them at times.
