According to 24/7, one big thing helping out A&M with the recruitment of 2018 S Jordan Moore is his mother supposedly prefers Sumlin to Herman.
Another possible factor is WR Damion Ratley on A&M's roster is from Yoakum.
With OL Chuck Filiaga eliminating Texas earlier today, 24/7 says UT will be looking at OL Brenden Jaimes (Austin Lake Travis) and OL Samuel Cosmi (Humble Atascocita).

So many WRs and DBs in 2018 I don't know any single loss is really that big right now. Talk to me about it at this time next year, I'm hoping we take 4 WRs and 5 DBs in the 2018 class.

This. They're a .500 team at best. Why Shaka didn't at least hunt down a juco PG is crazy. It's like Charlie not going after a QB. I think most will give Shaka the benefit of the doubt this year. But still kind of makes you wonder WTF.
