Never. He's a Spur for life, tbh. Pop and RC love him like family. He'll make his $15M next season and then likely be re-signed for cheap, on 2-3 year deal, hopefully as the backup..
Dude is soft and calling him 185# is being very nice.
He's not a winner, or a leader, and he's probably feeling butt hurt because that's just what he does.
He's a wannabe fat shooting guard who looks gassed every possession.

Maybe. But even though he still starts (when not "injured", or he is resting), it seems like Pop is slowly phasing him out. He is not really playing starter's minutes, and he is replaced more and more by Patty at crunch time. A big question is how butt hurt is he at being replaced by Patty as the closer?
Softridge with the subtle goods..![]()
Subtle....![]()
The team's Achilles heels is more the Porker-Pau combo than Aldridge, and I say that as converted LMA hater, btw..
Parker is done. The best thing he could do for the team is retire.
Problem is, Spurs won't get anything for him. The league is full of elite guards... , every team in the league has a better starting PG than the Spurs do.
The Spurs don't need anything for his sorry ass. Just having him gone and allowing MVPaddy and Murray to spread their wings would be a good enough trade-off. If matching salaries wasn't an issue I'd trade him for a piece of gum, tbh.
He's not getting traded, give it a rest![]()
nobody is trading for him, stop asking
dont become one of the "lets trade bonner for x" guys
You just need a young team with cap space who feels like he offers leadership or a veteran presence for their younsters...something like the Lakers must have felt offering that albatross of a contract to Deng.
This. However it will be interesting to see if Pop makes adjustments to the SL. I've noticed Patty closing some games and the result has been obviously strong. I think TP will stay as a starter, but I see Patty getting equal or more minutes on the floor.
Nobody in the league with that name, so no.
This... If you meant Tony Parker, he's not getting traded.
![]()
Please, no...
Even if Pop was willing to trade Tony this season, there isn't a team in the NBA that would be willing to take on the 30 million left on Tony's contract over the Next 2 years. There could be a possibility next year with Parker's contract being an asset as an expiring Contract if Pop is willing to make a deal and trade parker.

I am going for "or what" but...
Pop better start using Parker as a subs ute for a rough stretch of games and making him believe he is for all matters the subs ute. Even if in a couple of months he ends up starting during the playoffs.
Why?
It has been evident, as of now, that the Spurs will need to move on from him as a starter, and if next year, he is moved permanently to a subs ute role, then Pop should be sure he would not around that. Because if he does, we are screwed.
Better be clear that this season is the last one he might consider himself a starter.
I would think that a good excercise for Tony and Pop, would be to use Tony off the bench in games where Manu is out, that way you get Patty to start a bit more, which compensates him for the lack of Manu, and also it gives Tony the keys of the second unit to see how that fares.
With Patty becoming more and more of a closer, this seems to be the direction Pop is moving in. Now, if Pop can move in the same direction with Pau...
