Spurs should get this one, just need to make a true effort...For some reason the Blazers are the worst defense in the West.
But better pray for Kawhi's recovery next week or the game against Raptors will be so ugly.
People keeping trying to push this without waiting to see where the game is going to go. Spurs got s acked by Orlando and Utah with Kawhi. It happens.
Utah and Wizards are playoffs teams. On the other hand, Suns are the worst team in the West and Blazers have the worst defense in the league.
For the record, Kawhi in the home game they lost to the Jazz...30 points .55 FG% .75%3P 100 FT%
But Hill was feasting on Parker most game.
That game reminds me of the first game vs OKC last season, Kawhi was the best player on the floor but the Thunder won the game attacking Parker with Waiters in the 4th.

Spurs winning without Kawhi isn't an indictment on him, tbh..there are hundreds of examples of teams having winning stretches without their star..
The Spurs still have a coaching, system and continuity advantage against most teams in the NBA..even without Kawhi, they shouldn't be expected to lose against lotto teams at home..

I know 2 posters that feel this way and a couple others, but they won't publicly say it. I say we trade him while he's having this good run because when the playoffs get here, his hero ball is gonna get us ed up for a 3rd straight year
He isn't getting traded. And he plays within the flow of the game. Lately, he's been damn good at attacking the paint and creating looks for others. If we get this Parker in the playoffs, consider it a great thing. Kawhi/LMA will need to get theirs obviously. But it helps to have someone who can get in the paint and finish from the perimeter.

There is the "Cripples are better w/ Blake" narrative but they didn't win any games against the Grizz in 2013 after they were up 2-1 before Blake got injured & they had beaten them 4-2 the previous season. Meanwhile, they didn't look any worse w/o Choke-P against the Rockets.

mills averaged 5.8 in the games he started.
But that's a tiny sample. They play nearly the same minutes and TP averages more assist with the same amount of TO's. So shut it.
