Broncos fans want Sean Payton, but I really hope they don't get him

It's probably going to be the DC from Miami..I don't care about the HC, though, I just want a better OC..Kubiak's offensive gameplan was consistently horrible and didn't suit the personnel, at all(a run-oriented offense with a terrible O-line that can't run block)..

My biggest concern would be Elway wasting cap space on a QB like Romo, though..

Im just talking about how teams who win ty divisions get a home game because of a dumb rule. I don't have any butthurt over that game. Saints weren't gonna make a run that year. Way too many injuries even in a ty NFC.My butthurt is still over the loss at SF the following season.That choke job potentially cost us another Super Bowl appearance.

Huh? The 49ers were the ones who choked. The Saints were losing for literally 55 minutes of the game. Your offense was incredible and your defense was terrible, same story as today, it is what it is, but wasn't a choke job.

Nah we gave the Niners an early lead thanks to 5 turnovers including two from special teams. Defense kept us in the game until they fell apart late thanks to dumb play-calling especially in the final 40 secones. Offense finally took off in the 4th quarter including getting a late lead. No excuse to let Alice Smith drive 70 yards under 40 seconds. Pure choke job.

Nah we gave the Niners an early lead thanks to 5 turnovers including two from special teams. Defense kept us in the game until they fell apart late thanks to dumb play-calling especially in the final 40 secones. Offense finally took off in the 4th quarter including getting a late lead. No excuse to let Alice Smith drive 70 yards under 40 seconds. Pure choke job.

but the whole purpose of the saints was never defense or special teams, except the occasional splash play from Sproles. It was always the offense

Sproles was one of the guys who fumbled on STs. No excuse for 5 overall turnovers in a playoff game.

Also, the Niners offense was average at best that season especially Alice Smith. No excuse to let him drive 70 yards in less than 40 seconds. Embarrassing play-calling by Gregg Williams blitzing and leaving Vernon Davis man-to-man against a safety. It was egregious. All he had to do was play it safe and at worse the game would have gone to OT. The Saints had massively outgained the Niners but the turnovers and play-calling on defense did them in.

I agree with all that. Payton and Romo would be major mistakes. How much of a candidate is Kyle Shanahan from Atlanta? Offensively he has ties to Denver and the Falcons offense was the best we've seen since the 2013 Broncos.

I think he gets one this offseason. He learned his lesson from the last time around and has been a really good OC the last couple of years.
