I actually wonder what kind of diet he's on. I've always thought he takes too long to recover from minor ailments. Hopefully, he's eating good, healthy food and not stuffing himself with synthetic to aid in muscle building.
You aren't watching the games if you are asking that question.

Couldn't agree more. Paker always plays great defense against Kawhi and LMA, he does an amazing job denying them the ball in the 4th quarter.
LMA had a great offensive game and then Parker barely run a set a play for him in the 4th. Also, he just passed to Kawhi only after a broken play or remaining less than 4 seconds in the shot-clock.
Where did Parker asts to LMA and Kawhi in the final minutes and OT? He had a rare way to be a facilitator for their offense.
lol. Good point. If Manu was 5 years younger, he'd be wrecking people and going for the 6th man of the year award. 2011 Manu was the team's best player, and 2012 Manu was one of the team's best players.
Thinking Parker calls the plays to run
Thinking Pop calls every play in a quarter
Thinking Parker calls the plays
Thinking Pop would call a play for Parker ignoring LMA's favorable matchup with Dennis guarding him
Maybe he's got HIV, or Hep C.![]()
Thinking that Parker can't actually change a play or run a different play if he sees someone open out there. Oops, you can't really see much if you have tunnel vision. My bad.
Does it really make sense for the Spurs? Paker having more offensive opportunities than the two team-main scorers?
He can take some shots to keep the defense honest or takes what defense gives to him but averaging more FGAs than LMA and Kawhi is a winning formula for the Spurs?
After Parker missed Kawhi in the post against Neto last season I realized he simply has that ing tunnel vision.
Sadly, Parker'll keep ignoring Kawhi/LMA in crucial plays. This time was LMA.
KL's first game back, was rusty, out of sync. Non issue.
Yes, because those three straight WCF appearances, 2 straight Finals appearances & NBA championship never, ever happened......
The Parker haters here so stupid, irrational and (most of all) liars....
Kawhi misses two game winning shots and it's parkers fault?
They aren't bad people and they aren't liars (IMO) - they just have zero understanding of basketball at even a fundamental level. It's annoying but I dont think they know better.
Don't take this the wrong way, because it actually highlights Tony's character, but the 2014 championship was won when we went away from Tony (and he accepted that, remember the whole 'I gotta trust my teammates this series'?)...
He was largely awful for 6 games against the Mavs, we closed out Portland and OKC without him on the court (not his fault, he was hurt).
It doesn't diminish all he's done for the Spurs, and that's why he's a Spur for life, tbh...
Sometimes it appears it's difficult to say stuff like this and not come out as a hater, tbh
Most muscle building for the players takes place in the off season. Players optimize rest and rehab on off days and maintain strength training here and there.
Spurstalk redux.
Parker is not by any mean great in this game, but he certainly is not bad much less terrible as this thread suggested -the grade thread indicates, a fair B score on him. Especially not when Gasol is so damn worthless defensively tonight, and the bench sucked big endlessly.
Weird timing to make this thread after the Hawks game. Sure, Tony had two or three possessions down the stretch (espescially in OT) when he forced it a little. But overall, I thought he played a good game. He clearly took more shots in this game because someone had to pick up the slack offensively with Kawhi not being himself. Defensively, Parker is obviously going to be exposed more often than not these days, but that's his age and mileage showing and not for lack of effort.
2017 and still blaming Parker for every losses
2017 still not getting it
What about those 2 rebounds the Spurs didn't grab in OT which ended up being 4 FTs for the Hawks and 2 possessions that used the clock down to less than 4 seconds?
That's a bit skewed because Portland was so determined not to let LMA beat them (3 FGA) that it opened up opportunities for others including Parker.
