Maybe we can trade all our bad players for all their good players.
I called it a few weeks ago: If Millsap gets traded, he goes to the Raptors, along with Hardaway Jr., for Sullinger, Ross and Poeltl.
Maybe we can trade all our bad players for all their good players.
RC, is that you?![]()
Pretty sure they are still feeling the sting of that Splitter sandwich they were fed.
KYLE MAGIC JOHNSON ANDERSON, SLO MO Magic
it was a salary dump, we acquired no assets for them to feel butt hurt about.
i would take them both.
didn't include korver cause i was trying to make the trade somewhat realistic
which i think it is.
Im here to tell you it's not. Spurs would not give up LMA and TP for that package. It's one of the least realistic trades proposed this year.
you've mistaken me for someone who cares about what you have to say.
You've mistaken yourself for someone who knows the Spurs and that people enjoy reading on here. Doesn't stop you from posting though.
you make good points.
i'm by no means saying patty is perfect. i definately see what you saying.
a couple reasons why i make that trade:
-let's see what patty can bring to the starting lineup, he should be starting now so the spurs have a really good idea of what to offer this summer
-getting parker's contract off the books
we won't have a great playmaker... but that's the position we're already in.
when parker isn't in the game is when sean says, "this unit really moves the ball." no parker means more ball movement. that's what i want to rely on. not parker.
people like dpg are too attached to parker.
spurs are like, 7-2 without him this season. finished last season like, 11-3 without him.
Dude, when Mills plays with the same starters TP does, his numbers look worse. TP is not great but he's way better at playmaking than Mills.
Spurs know who Mills is - if he was good enough to be a starter on a playoff team he would be. We saw him vs starters before in the playoffs and the results were bad.
The reason the ball moves when Patty is in is because there is no lumbering bigs with LMA/Pau in and Kawhi to absorb plays/touches.
No one is saying TP is untouchable because of his level of play - it's because nothing proposed is realistic, at a minimum they would need another PG (likely a starter back) if they move him and SA just flat out doesn't seem like they would ever trade TP in the real world.
It's not because we think he's a top 5 player or something.
Let me make this very clear: WE GAVE THEM A WORTHLESS, UNUSABLE ASSET THAT:
1. TAKES UP A ROSTER SPOT
2. COST $ 16,750,000.
You don't think ownership is butt-hurt over that deal? If I'm a Hawks owner, I'm holding that over Budenholzer's head until I fire him. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Spurs fan and eternally grateful for Bud doing us a solid, but lets not get this twisted, we sold them a flat tire.
idk what numbers you're talking about but you make it seem like mills has already been starter for a long enough time to quantify results
writing him off before he gets a chance![]()
50 minutes is now All the time. He could easily turn it around in another 200 minutes.
Compare his lineups to porkers and he has the clear cut advantage.![]()
spurs AST% is +6 with parker off the court.
If Spurs are making the trade, Murray should start.
Half a season for accelerated growth. Make or break.
But not happening. PATFO will not trade TP.
spurs AST% is +10 with patty on the courtthat's a +16 difference between parker on the court vs patty on the court

parker's ORtg on/off: +1
patty's? +6
not against murray starting. wanted him to start over parker even before the season started.
I'd love to have Korver, tbh... just difficult to do it without losing Danny
Saw that coming. He's gonna be scary on the Cavs, but it's also someone the Spurs can hide Parker on.
