Giannis compared to Kawhi this season:
    -0.1 PPG
    +3.2 RPG
    +2.7 APG
    -0.1 SPG
    +1.4 BPG
    +6.6 FG%
    +1.5 PER
    +0.5 WS
    +3.3 BPM
    +1.2 VORP
Plays in the weak ass East + averages 2 MPG more than Kawhi..

Poop micromanaging Kawhi will always kill his numbers..no wonder he is never had a 40 point-game yet while plenty of scrubs and most of his his peer star players recorded least 1 50-point game..

Also notice when Kawhi cooking, it usually means the Spurs have won in blowout and he sat the entire 4th....
Not to mention Giannis is the go to do it all guy on the bucks. Plays more minutes. And doesn't play next to LMA and Parker who take a fair amount of shots.

Only an Idiot would actually take a player like Giannis over Kawhi.

The dude hasnt done anything to even stel foot on the the top 10 list in the NBA...So many of these stats are cir stancial.

In truth lebron, should have probably won MOre MVPs already but he had seasons with tricky situations and his stats werent as "sexy" as other MVP winners.

I'm not saying Giannis isn't a very very good player, but there are things to consider when comparing him to Kawhi.

    Milwaukee's 2nd and 3rd options (Jabari + Monroe):
    23.8FGA/game

    LMA and Parker:
    23.8FGA/game

Jabari has a higher USG% than Aldridge, and Monroe has a higher USG% than Parker

I love Giannis. That dude's legit. Kawhi was and probably still is the player the team needed/needs, but it's not clear at all he's going to be looked at as a better player. Giannis is playing at a HoF pace right now -- without the post-season success. That's a impressive for a guy who just turned 22.

Dude will and will always be a scrub. Even the cavaliers were better without his ing ass. Cavaliers can't even win with supposedly him and another all star not lebron.

Giannis just turned 22 lol, plus I was talking about THIS SEASON

You're sounding like a 2010-2014 Kobe fan when Tim's name was brought up, tbh..

Fair enough, you got me there. Both are attempting about the same fga as well, but as I said, there are other factors to throw in there. For one, playing in the east definitely helps.

Leastern conference. Seed 2-8 wouldn't be harder than the 8th seed in the west.

Facts are facts bruh. Too early to consider him anything more than a very good player with potential to be great. At the end of the day he still has his team with 16 losses in the very weak east.

Kawhi is a lock to be starter with the new rules..
And Zaza has no chance because of those rules.

I almost want to see Kawhi not be a starter to see how many idiots on here blame that on Parker.

Well, the voting isn't legit. He almost got Kawhi's spot last year (14k difference) and quadrupled Dirk's votes... so it wasn't Mavs fans

No way Georgia is a more organized country for this than China and Argentina lol
I agree its not legit in a basketball sense. He's a dirty scrub. As I said in my original post it wasn't mainly Mavs fans. He has become very popular in his native country, with a get out vote campaign worth of Melo, as well as an international campaign by Hatian singer on his behalf. And that hero status in Georgia and the residue of the Wyclef's Jeans work has served him well at the beginning of this year.

    From last year's article:

Georgia, a country with a population of approximately 4.5 million, certainly stuffed the cyberballots. Musician Wyclef Jean, who has a mutual friend with Pachulia from Georgia, posted a song on social media campaigning for the big man.

"Man, my country is amazing," Pachulia said. "It feels so great to be loved by this many people. That's what I care about the most, and that's why I'm so happy."
He'll fade. And the new rules, as others have noted, will make it impossible. Spurs fans should push for Kawhi and LMA though.

He's playing this well despite being one of the worst shooters in the league. Will be scary if he ever learns how to.

    that dirty ass scrub.

He almost popped Kawhi's shoulder, elbowed David West, dove for Danny's legs and then kicked him, and then got ejected for talking to Danny all in the same game last year....

Hope he has a career ender
