Curious as to specifics on the deal and what ATL got in return. Possibly a pick?
Weird to see ATL helping CLE.
I wonder what they got here. I I had to guess, think Bud got Cedi Osman rights

Millsap to OKC, calling it now
do us a solid bud. something along the lines of parker + lma for millsap.
okc should definitely try to get millsap.
Lol, no.
I hear Cavs going to trade for Korver.....Plus cavs taking a look at Mario Chalmers and Rhondo......
Korver to Cleveland for crap....
Hopefully not. They only need a 2nd quality scorer to become a threat again...
Cavs gave up a first round pick for Korver. I think that easily would be the best offer ATL gets for a FA player. Makes sense for CLE too unfortunately with JR Smith out.
Not sure they are giving up Sabonis for a one year rental unless they are willing to give 32 year old Millsap a 100 mill contract which means they will be capped out w/ a ty bench.(assuming Kanter is part of the deal)
Yeah I can't see Millsap to the Thunder. They need bargains at that spot.
offtopic a bit, but is this the Dwight Howard effect, tbh? They're basically blowing it up, for what exactly?
Is Dwight going to stick around a rebuilding team? Does he even gets to choose at this point?
Yeah
Or maybe he's history too.
My understanding is they wanted to pair Horford with Howard. Since that failed they are moving on.
I think Bud has a realistic view of things. This team has absolutely no chance of winning a le, now or in the future. However, not sure I understand the Korver deal. His contract isn't horrendous. It expires and they got nothing back>
what are teams offering for millsap, thabo?
Thabo should be a fairly high quality back-up wing still. (Though I admit to not paying attention since the incident with the broken leg in NY.). Since Atlanta is fire selling for cap space you think they would take kyle, pau, and a second rounder?
Why the would the Spurs do that?
LOL. You want to trade all those players for Thabo?
Two players and a late second round pick isn't bad since he would be an upgrade. Manu is likely gone next year and Anderson gives the spurs what? Pau is for a rebuilding team pretty much an expiring contract for chasing free agents. Thabo fills the hole at backup 3 and helps eat minutes at 2. The only downside is it leaves the bio rotation a bit thin and might stunt Simmons development though quality rotation backup 2 is I think his ceiling.
..
"6 game-winning steak". "Hawks back to contention"![]()
Probably a negotiating ploy to get teams to up their offers.
