The Cavs are staaaacked, and are the prohibitive favorites to win the championship up to this point in the season, and they don't even have JR Smith in the line up atm

If the Cavs choke against whoever comes out the West will the media claim he didn't have enough help, or has that excuse gotten too stale? Maybe they'll just say the other team won despite LeBron's greatness, and that it was a testament to LeBron's talents that the Cavs didn't get swept(assuming they don't get swept)

(CBS Sports June 12th, 2017 San Antonio, TX)
The San Antonio Spurs hoisted their 6th trophy and first since Player of His Generation Timmy Duncan retired a year ago. The San Antonio and entire NBA community wishes a speedy recovery for Greg CIA Popovich as he went out during the last regular season game with what Dr.s are calling "blood content irregularities." Kwa Leonard led 7 players in double figures as the Spurs beat down the Cleveland Cavaliers 4 games to 1. A pouty Tony Parker announced plans to either force a trade or quit after fill in coach No Favoritism Team 1st sat Parker on the bench for 80% of the playoff run.
Pau Gasol surprisingly happily accepted his bench role and gave robust minutes as Dedman set an NBA record for alley oop slams in the post season with 72.

The Warriors added Durant to a 73-win team. They are the only team in the league that will need an "excuse" for losing in the Finals this year. Nice try, though.

Warriors lost a lot of good players for Durant.

O paper Cavs are superior at the moment

The Warriors on paper are literally the most stacked team in NBA history, and their moves in the offseason was fueled by LeBron and co defeating their 73 win team.

LeBron doesn't need an excuse for anything until the day he retires, tbh.

The Warriors are the favorites imo, just as they were last season, and they were a better team last year as well. The Cavs capitalized on a massive choke and Raymond being too stupid to control himself, imo they were not the better team in the series and pulled off one of the greatest upsets in modern sports history. their team is stacked but they added a semi-washed up Korver, not an in his prime MVP to their team. Only team that has no excuse to lose is the most stacked team ever assembled tbh

Haha, the Cavs are a really good team. You don't come back from down 3-1 without being a great team. The Cavs in 2015 had Kyrie for one game and Love was out the whole Finals, so the Warriors won. The Warriors live by the 3 and die by the 3 which you saw happen vs Cavs in the Finals last season. To beat the Warriors you have to keep scoring and the Cavs can do that against them.
