Bernie supported Hillary because the alternative was Trash.
No need for name calling Gen. Mcarthy.

So its ok to bow down to DNC cheating just so your team wins? No I disagree

Trump won't make it to 2018. Some bat crazy/angry asshole like Boutons but with more balls will assassinate him.
Nah, Mike "AC/DC for the LGBT" Pence scares them a lot more.

    And Trump's isn't?
trump's is virtually non-existent ... i wasn't complimenting trump with my comment. like i said, bernie was by preferred choice, and just about anybody outside of ben carson would be a massive upgrade over trump. i just dont think bernie was this messiah people are claiming

The good thing about electing Bernie would have been all his Santa Claus like free college would have never made it through congress. It's a big reason I was willing to vote for Clinton too, who I would have never voted for if there was a Democrat house and/or senate.
yeah this was basically my take in the "is this the worst crop of candidates ever thread" or whatever it was called

A moderate Democrat presided over arguably the worst loss in the party's history (lost the Rust Belt for the first time in decades, least seats held in political office since Reconstruction, "progressive" ballot items flopped miserably even in blue states), but libcucks still actually think a candidate who was even further to the left than Hillary would have beaten Trump. The delusion is real.

Bernie didn't get "screwed," btw. He lost the primary by over three million votes and almost 500 pledged delegates. If you really think a few mean emails and a debate question made him lose that badly, you're delusional. Blame Bernie for being completely unappealing to anyone who wasn't white, suburban and millennial. Waving around a couple grainy black-and-white pictures of him marching in the '60s wasn't enough to make black people vote for him.

Sanders would have likely won Wisconsin and Michigan, but I'm not sure if he'd flip Pennsylvania or Ohio, which he would have needed to win. But Sanders might have also had trouble holding on to Virginia with all the DOD workers living there.

    Bernie and Warren. Do it.
    LOL. No

Two extreme lefties is not going to happen. You need to balance it with someone who's not as far left as you.

If you were able to win the presidency with a Bernie and a Warren ticket and then you have a republican senate and house. You won't get a thing past. If you thought Obama had problems getting things through then you have another thing coming with the aforementioned pick.

Bernie was just too far left with all his free everything. Not sure how he would had faired against Trump. Turnout still would had been the key and I'm not sure what would had happened. I'm not sure how many Trump voters were actually pro Clinton that may had voted for Bernie had he won. A whole lot of his supporters stayed home, whether or not that would had shifted those states she lost is what we will never know.

Hillary Clinton confidante Neera Tanden says she doesn't expect Clinton to run for New York mayor -- or anything else, ever again.

Yeah, Sanders would have lost everyone who can do math, instead of doing what feels good. So he would have won.

did not sell out, he campaigned hard against Trash, which meant for Hillary

The disaster for 10Ms if not 100Ms people by 2004 will leave the anti-Trash field wide open

    Exactly, "for Hillary."

When the wikileaks broke about Wasserman etc rigging, Bern should have called for a contested convention.
Instead he wanted to *keep the peace* and so sucked up to Hillary.

If Biden had run, he might have taken vote away from Sanders, perhaps even more so than from Hillary.
