go off on the supposed defensive dominance of "Wing Stop?"

Side note: Manure and House were 1-9 for 3 points, but I'm sure the usual suspects are already spinning it as Parker's fault.

Pop lost them the game. Might not even be a top 5 coach in the league anymore tbh; never seen a coach micromanage his team to a loss more than Pop.

    D-League Danny.

His pumpers will tell you about his 3 in the fourth, and will forget about the open 3 he gave to Brogdon on the next play

Green got bent over by everyone he went against, tbh. He doesn't match up well against bigger guards/forwards.

    Beasely abused Green...
    Not surprised.

This is why I no longer take RPM seriously. It ranks D-League as an above average defender, but 82games.com (a far superior statistical resource than ESPiN's magic metric) shows in hard numbers that D-League has been getting beat by his counterparts all season. Opposing SGs are averaging 25ppg per 48 against him for a 17.4 PER to his 13.9ppg per 48/13 PER.

When D-League had his big contract year season, he was holding opposing SGs to a 13 overall PER.

Manu and Mills were a dumpster fire.

What good is a shooting guard who can't shoot?

Killing danny green. It was to the point that Green was afraid to guard him. At one point, he didn't even try to fight thru the screen. He gladly let Gasol switch. Green got ed up tonight. Then he went cold in the 2nd half. Missed about 5 open jumpers in a row before finally hitting an open 3

I don't see how Green can go from effectively guarding Lebron in the finals to getting cucked by Michael Beasley.

He was murdering green tbh. Kawhi blocked one of his shots and had a steal or 2 off of him iirc. Beasley also missed a few with Kawhi on him.

Only Leonard was able to guard him.

Pop tried Simmons and DG and It didn't work at all. He abused both.

Book is out on him. Players have adjusted, so he's no longer a "no name" who can sneak up on opponents with his offense/defense.

And Pop put Kawhi on Beasly just 2 minutes in the whole game. Well done, Pop

They should have put Anderson on him and had scrub vs scrub cancel each other out.

Yes and one play resulted in a Kawhi block and Beasley either missed or gave up and passed the ball away.

Call me crazy but maybe Kyle size would bother Beasly? I mean, at least he couldn't have been worse than Simms and Danny on defense tonight

Yeah, would've liked to see Fathead on Beasley when it became apparent Green couldn't handle him. Offense prolly would've gone to though.
