LA barely gave a about one bad NFL team, how will they care about two? Along with USC getting back to near the top, moving to LA will be a disaster. How long before one of these teams jumps to another city?

No way the NFL bails them out, especially with the new multi-billion dollar stadium under construction. They made their bed, now they have to lie in it.

Really hard to believe ANYONE ANYTHING gives up what might be the greatest place to live in the USA for a dump like LA. I've lived in San Diego (North Park) in a word.....fantastic. Been all over LA and it totally sucks.

Once took a 747 from San Diego to LAX, the closer we got the worst the smog got.

How could anything having to do with the lowly Chargers make that kind of impact on the history of the NFL? They are one of those....never won a Superbowl....teams.

The AFL Jets beating the mighty NFL Colts was a pretty important disaster.

Shut the up, you insufferable old got. Ripping three teams (including the Raiders) from their cities in the span of a year, at a time when the NFL already has a PR crisis, is a disaster. Moving yet another team to LA when the team that's already there is struggling to maintain a fanbase is a disaster. The Chargers moving to a city that doesn't want them and leaving behind a city full of pissed-off people who will never again root for a Spanos-owned team is a disaster. The Chargers being unable to fill the dinky little StubHub Center will be the cherry on top of the sundae. The LA experiment will be a legendary failure that will be talked about for decades to come.

Stupid, you said....biggest disaster in NFL history....right ya little punk? Well it won't be, ok ya sorry sack of . So...WRONG...as usual. And what do the Rams and Raiders have to do with the Chargers, yep....NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!

Stupid, do you really think the NFC cares, or anyone outside southern Cali?

Chicago Cardinals, then St. Louis Cardinals, then Arizona Cardinals, how did that turn out?

Dallas Texans becoming the Kansas City Chiefs.

Houston Oilers becoming the Tennessee ans.

LA Chargers, becoming the San Diego Chargers.

Oakland Raiders, LA Raiders, Oakland Raiders.

How in the did the NFL survive all, that, hahahaha~~~~

How did the NFL make it after such failures as....

    Akron Pros
    Columbus Panhandlers
    Evansville Crimson Giants
    Dayton Triangles
    Tonawanda Kardex
    Lousivile Brecks
    Oorang Indians
    Kansas City Cowboys
    Pottsville Maroons

Moving a team from San Diego to LA, is nothing.

Pretty happy about this move since I get to see the Broncos once a year now in Los Angeles. Hopefully these two teams meet for the playoffs someday

The NFL is doomed, the Chargers are now in LA. WHERE THEY STARTED OUT.

How in the did the NFL even make it while the Chargers were in the old AFL?

The 1960 Los Angeles Chargers season was the team's inaugural season, also the first season of the American Football League. Head coach Sid Gillman led the Chargers to the AFL Western Division le with a 10–4 record, in the team's only season in Los Angeles, with its home field at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.[1][2]
The season concluded with the AFL championship game against the Houston Oilers (10–4) of the Eastern Division, held at Jeppesen Stadium in Houston on New Year's Day. The teams had split their two games in the regular season, with the home teams winning, and the host Oilers were 6 1/2-point favorites to win the le.[3] Down by a point after three quarters, the Chargers gave up an 88-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter and lost, 24–16.[4][5]
Initially denied in December,[6] but announced in late January, owner Barron Hilton relocated the Chargers down the coast to a soon-to-be expanded Balboa Stadium in San Diego for the 1961 season.[7][8][9]

On Thursday morning, San Diego police said they had officers posted at Spanos’ La Jolla home and at Chargers’ headquarters overnight as a precaution.
