Thanks Splits..![]()
Lol I don't hate him. I just don't get the Tony vs Manu schtick TBH... and since I stay away from it and think Manu gets too much of a pass vs Tony who gets too much hate... take it as you will..
Thanks Splits..![]()
ginobli better than Robinson? Da you smoking?
I can't find it on you tube but the dive out of bounds play leaning forward stretched out then he slings it back for the assist with all that momentum moving forward from the dive. That was an amazing play.
But back on topic. Manu has done some heartbreaking errors in judgment in games that led to losses. He's still an amazing hall of famer that Spurs could never replace with anyone else in the prime years on the team. Spurs would not have been able to sign or trade anyone at the time to fill his shoes.
He's always done everything for the team from sliding to the bench instead of starting to looking to make plays for his teammates instead of himself. He just wants to win

Is there a way to view these (or other) old clips in better quality?
I don't mean HD, but something better than those Youtube ones.
TV Broadcast wasn´t such bad quality in 200x!
You have now put yourself on the alltime Spurs idiot list.
You are a typical bandwagon fan who knows about the history of the organization.
Climbing on board when Duncan arrives and dissing the background. Typical ignorant coward fandom.
Go root for the Dubs now.
Go on, get.
This is mostly from the middle school drama queen fans from outside the city who bring their regional prejudices and the fact that Tony seems to attract a good number of female fans. It's the children.
Damn gimmie prime Manu over prime Enrique anytime anywhere hands down fwiw tbh tbqh
It wasn't with the Spurs, but that game against team USA has to be in here
Heart of a lion. Nobody cares what gots say.
I absolutely love that play. Unreal. Manu's career is filled with small plays in the middle of games that are just absolutely amazing.
Below might be my favourite pass of his. Absolutely ridiculous to pull this off in an NBA game, who even thinks of this pass?
I think this is my favorite Manu assist. Makes the steal on one end, then one-hands a bad pass from RJ for an easy layup.
Can't really put in links right now from work, but if you look for Manu vs mavs there are a lot of good ones (06 game 6 he was huge; regular season game in 07 where he destroyed them with Duncan out including dunking all over Diop and Howard; '10 playoffs the game he broke his nose, iirc shortly after he had a drive to close the game out between 2-3 dudes; 2014 game 7 people remember Tony finally catching fire, but Manu had been good all series and has something like 20, 5 ast and 5 stl and just clowned dirk all series long)
This too![]()
He was on a tear in 2008 season after we won where he scored a few back to back 40 point games and was close to the best player in the league for a stretch there.
Emotional vid...![]()
I was always shocked how Manu was able to dunk the ball at critical moments. It seemed like he would never be able to get to the rim.
