Per OrangeBloods, JUCO DT Larrell Murchison has been offered.
The guy just simply stated Chaisson had been recruiting for Texas prior to the LSU visits I think this makes it useless information. We all have learned that once a recruit visits LSU things can change quickly especially with targets from Houston we have been on the wrong side of many of these battles. Not saying he's an LSU lock but I think this only tightens the race. If he doesn't commit while in BR then we fight to live another day is the way I see it. Let's hope he doesn't pull the trigger and sticks to his OV to Texas.
This kid is content to follow the path of least resistance, he doesn't seem to want to have to work to get his playing time.
Updates from OrangeBloods...
-DE Taquon Graham said he really enjoyed meeting the new staff and talking about how he'd be used in Coach Orlando's scheme. He mentioned he's not sure if he'll end up taking his official visits to TCU and Oklahoma.
-CB Chevin Calloway said the visit exceeded is expectations, but he'll still visit Arkansas next weekend and weigh his options.
-JUCO DT Jamari Chisolm apparently did not receive an offer, but he told other recruits the coaches are working on making sure he can get into UT first.
Baylor has also picked up ATH Trestan Ebner of Henderson.
OrangeBloods reporting JUCO LB Gary Johnson had a "very good" visit, but he will follow through with this officials to Oregon and USC.
The plan right now is to make a decision on Signing Day.
Quotes from CB Chevin Calloway of Dallas Bishop Dunne after his official visit to UT (OrangeBloods):
“What stood out on the visit itself was just the coaches. I got more than what I expected out of the visit,” Calloway said. “l liked hearing what coach (Tom) Herman had to say about what it is he's doing with the program. I knew there was a lot of switching up and changes. What he told me was great. He was just telling me what he's doing with the schemes with the defense and offense, how he's going to take care of players off the field, what he plans on doing with that."
“Also the facilities, what he’s planning on doing with the weight room. And the players and network … They’re going to blow up the weight room. The south end zone is going to be closed in, more seats there.”
“Really there’s no team out in front. Once I get back from Texas, I’ll come down from the high of all the stuff of what they’re telling me. I’m going to sit down, go over the pros and cons of Ole Miss and Texas. Once I take the Arkansas visit, I'll do the same thing with that one.”
“It definitely did (give me a lot to think about). At first I was concerned with number of DBs. I don't mind compe ion, but I’m trying to get on the field,” Calloway said. “It’s a new group of coaches, so they said they don't know anybody, whoever is the best is going to start. It’s not about seniors, not relationships. Everybody is equal right now.”
Wut. They've already got 2 offensive coordinators don't they
