Yeah, I keep hearing these arguments about how the game is played today. But, to me, defense involves getting stops. I keep seeing these quarters, halves, games, when the Spurs can't stop . I guess there are other times when the opponents aren't hitting anything, and the numbers average out. But if you can't impose your will and get stops, you're not playing good defense.
I guess I'm just living in the past.
Well it's not like the Spurs have zero chance of ringing, they definitely have to have lots of things go their way. But they're also a top 3 team in the league when everything is clicking.
Seriously.. And there are no "shut down" defenses anymore. We are a top defense in today's NBA. With lots of time to improve/
Lee is served sir.
For sure man, but honestly, I think this a really flawed roster and not a team built for the playoffs. But seeing as to how there are few truly elite teams let's see what happens.
I just don't know how far this team can with LMA as their second best player.
mills is costing himself a lot of money
My mood ring just exploded.
But that's the problem, while the Spurs have a strong ceiling, everything clicking rarely happens.
I know it's just a regular season game but I think the Spurs get blown out against Cleveland on Saturday.
Meaning you're out of Vicodin?
Well, we shall see. But odds are Spurs have a better chance than most. But other than CLE / GS there really aren't any dominate teams. Spurs are better than most everyone else, even if it's not by a lot. Spurs have more headroom than most too.
There ya go Patty
866 consecutive double digit games for MJ??? Cheese and Crackers.
Kawhi with the 4 point play! Lee did a great job of sealing for him on that play.
Yes, but they had 71 in the first half. Big picture stuff.. We can't undo our bad first half but we can make up for it this half. Which we have thus far defensively.
