Cavs are playing with house money, tbh..can't see them being motivated enough to win again..

They just had the most impressive le win in NBA history and broke a 60+ year Cleveland drought, can't imagine a team being hungry enough to repeat after that(not to mention GS was a better team, anyways)..

Forgot that Griffin is about to come back. With how good Felton has looked CP0's injury could be a blessing in disguise.
Blake won't be back until the end of the month & he won't be a 100% for about 2 weeks so that would 1 month before they get MVP Blake. Besides, their cupcake schedule is over & they are going to have a bunch of road games so the timing is bad if he's out for 2 weeks.

Although, they shouldn't be any lower than the 5th seed unless they lose every game.

Joe Johnson, Boris Diaw and Leandro Barbosa played on the Suns home floor tonight.

Try to imagine how surreal that is for me. Pretty sure these are the only guys left in the league who played under Mike D'Antoni in Phoenix.

Man, I miss mid-2000's basketball. So many good rivalries back then.

Yep, very uncomfortable watching some of that last nite, da. Like it was 30 years ago, or, another lifetime.

The second the Christmas day game ended, I knew a start to finish blowout was coming in this game. There's this notion that it's those two and everyone else, but that's not true: unfortunately, it's the Warriors and everyone else.

In truth, you could make a strong argument that the Spurs are the 2nd best team in the league, at least in the regular season. The Cavaliers team metrics aren't impressive at all, yet it's seemingly overlooked because they capitalized on a litany of breaks last season to win the championship. I'd give them slightly better odds than the Spurs, just because they're far more likely to be in the Finals and have the best player in the world, but they're probably in the same class, along with a healthy Clippers.

The Cavs have two guys that could drop 40+ & takeover a playoff game plus shooters that can bomb out a team when they get hot. The Spurs have two guy that could drop 40 but LMA can be slowed down by double teams & Danny is the only guy that plays major minutes who can kill a team w/ his outside shooting (Patty/Manu can't play more than 20 minutes against the Duds).

Another thing the Cavs have is Tristan Thompson who can switch out on the PnRs, I can't say the same for Pau.

All true, but the Spurs are significantly better defensively and for right now, at least (we'll see who the Cavs get to be their backup PG and depth big), deeper.

Like I said, I'd give them slightly better odds, but I don't actually think they're in another class overall.

    Tier 1: Warriors

    Tier 2: Cavaliers, Spurs, Clippers

    Tier 3: Rockets, Raptors

Fair points but because cavs have the best player of any of those teams they get a slight edge over Spurs ..
Lol ...Clips? Lump them with Rox and Raptors ...done with those studio gangstas ...they look good but fail when it matters. They were my dark horse final contenders 2 straight years and haven't even come close

Curry/Gaymond owning Choke-P/Blake is basically checkmate especially when they don't have to guard Moute & DeAndre can't score in the post.

I gave the Cavs a slight edge because of James and the lack of a viable alternative to them in the East.

A healthy Clippers has superior star star power, experience and defense, to the Rockets and Raptors.

Even in a best of 7, the better team doesn't always win. They were the better team then and they are now.

What would a Spurs fan and especially you know about repeating?

Well, if you are talking about repeating the same ole bull posts year after year then of course, Spurs fans are the Crown Jewels of repeating.

    Basketball wise...

I've probably walked and run more miles than you have ever dreamed of. You should probably talk about something you actually know about. You know, like how soft you have to be to have 5 les and not defend a single one.

Thanks for the predictable "I have no reasonable retort" so I'll go with a grade school reply. So juvenile and typical but certainly YOU.

Why would I need to dream about walking or running? I can just get up and do it tbh. It's pretty nice actually.

You obviously don't comprehend the comment. Not unexpected. And again, with an immature and juvenile response. Totally expected and ever so predictable.

Care to discuss the actual topic that was brought up? I'm guessing not.

Repeating is a lot like the act of using your legs tbh; in that respect you wouldn't know much about the topic either.

You really are quite the idiot. I use my legs everyday. Go figure.

And I also played on several basketball teams that have repeated, threepeated and even fourpeated. And I am an ardent fan of a team and watched them in person repeat and threepeat numerous times. You know, the true test of a champion.

So let's hear your experience with respect to the topic.

I'm predicting yet another juvenile response with no mention of the actual topic or none at all since it's obviously a touchy subject for you.

    Have a good night!
