Hand grenades and horseshoes . . .
Hand grenades and horseshoes . . .
That's nice and all, but would he have been worth it, tbh?
.....and nuclear warheads
Of course a pairing of Kawhi and Durant would have been awesome and in my opinion more unstoppable that GSW w/ Durant. That said, GSW became the most hated team and people will debate the legitimacy of any le they win and will call them failures for any year they don't win a le. So probably good he didn't come.
Of course we were...
Here is the full list in order:
Dubs
Spurs
Cavs
Thunder
Clippers
...this lazy mother er just printed out the overall 15/16 standings, as he wanted to get the easiest ring possible.
Of course.
The Spurs probably can't afford Gasol with Durant on board. But a starting lineup of Parker, Leonard, Durant, Aldridge, and Lee/Dedmon doesn't look too shabby.
Being called failures in the years they don't win won't stop em from being pretty damn happy with the years they do win.
If Golden State had won the NBA Finals last year, Durant would be in a Spurs uniform right now.
Ofc we were the 2nd seedbut niglet hates kawhi so who knows
Of course. The Warriors nuked their depth to get him and it was worth it, hard to imagine the same not being true for the Spurs.
LOL...Clippers. They needed an elite SF more than any other team of the list but those locker room issues..
I was saying to a friend of mine, I didn't want the Warriors to win last season as I hated their over-celebrating, so I went back and forth throughout that whole series on who I wanted to win. I picked Cleveland as the lesser of two evils, but I didn't want them winning either because I thought that opened the door for Durant to Goldenstate. I had no idea he was that serious about coming to the Spurs. I thought we would have been third on the list behind OKC, Goldenstate and then the Spurs as a long shot.
Now that he left, it's pretty obvious to me that he wanted out of OKC because of Westbrook. They just weren't the best of friends. I should have went for Goldenstate, but I had no idea the Spurs were even in the running. I thought he'd stay in OKC.
The Warriors, and Raymond especially, have been tampering all of last season. The Spurs may have been a consideration, but I doubt it was even close.
Dublettes lost to the Heatles![]()
Thank God..Would rather the spurs not have his ass..
He has indeed said 'no way' he would go to GSW if they won the le, which goes to show how insecure and stupid Durant is.
I still haven't heard whether or not Kawhi was at the recruiting meeting? If he wasn't, then I do think Kawhi didn't really want him on the team due to his comments about Kawhi.
He was with his GF who was giving birth to his kid, I think.
