But because of his name and number, I somehow keep thinking of him as some sort of hybrid between CancerJo and DeMarco Murray. Help me...

Please. One flashy dunk in a game we lost in a blowout meant nothing. He didn't even play the second half of game 6 after about the 8 minute mark in the 3rd quarter.

Cojo dunk on Ibaka was momentum changer. Spurs took the momentum back even in a loss

before that dunk the Spurs were intimidated to take any kind of shot in the lane, after that dunk that all change we attacked the paint on them again.

This is the dumbest nickname I've heard. It makes no sense. Go find a skinny NBA journeyman that's skinny and ideally has a fro. That's Tumbleweed. If Pop wasn't so nuts, Kyle Anderson would probably fit it to a T.

This. The dude posterized the most feared rim protector in the league that year. Give the man some due respect. He's getting solid minutes from the Raptors and he's making good use of them.

To be fair to OP, it's an interesting comparison as they were both drafted 29th, play the same position and were same age when drafted. CoJo was to me always regarded as a project in early years who would make a nice backup with a long career. And had that one dunk.

Spurs were forced to go PG with the CoJo pick given they had just traded Hill and needed depth. Murray was drafted as BPA and likely should have been drafted much earlier.

Cojo seemed like a good guy to me. Never heard anything cancerous about him. Is your anger just because he's an ex Spirs player?

Sounds like it is just player hate for no apparent reason.

Totally valid thread topic. I agree that CoJo was a positional need, but Murray kind of was too with Parker and Ginobili on the way out.

Murray's ceiling is higher but his floor is lower, or at least it would be with a team that can't develop players.

Joseph was, in fact, cancerous when on the floor with Manu. The same problem Kyle is having right now. They both performed better as starters and away from Manu

So butthurt. Listen to this man his words are facts, because he told me....Must suck wasting your life watching spurs games hoping certain players have a bad game. So petty, oh well I'll take pleasure knowing these guys are getting paid millions to play a game while your here stewing about someone who will never even know you existed. Cheers.
