If Parker and Leonard both play and don't look terrible, the Spurs can win this. Otherwise, with the way Pop bas been trying to lose a game the past week, I see a loss. the Pelicans regardless.

Why the Pels hate?
no real hate, I just don't like how the Pels have seemed to own the Spurs over the past few seasons. I know the Spurs are 3-1 or something over the past couple seasons, but 2015 was rough.

Monty did well against the Spurs. Gentry is atrocious and I don't think he's ever beat them.

They won a game last year iirc. Between the first time the Spurs saw the Pelicans and now their roster has gotten much better (better than anything the Spurs have seen from them since 2015) and on top of Pop's recent antics I can definitely see him getting another tonight.

with the way the handled they cavs without Davis the spurs better come out sharp and pop better not be a got and sit a bunch of players again
oh yea that game Diaw gave up 30 points to Ryan Anderson... after that .. if you remember Kyle Anderson played against the Pels every other game against the Pelicans and Diaw saw a ton of bench. It should have been the very first sign that Diaw was going to coast for most of the season bc that 30 point Ryan Anderson game vs Diaw was in November.

Really hope overrated stat padder Davis plays.... Pels are actually a threat without him
This should be a big game for Aldridge. He always gets "up" to face the other elite power forwards anyway and now he'll have the added motivation of being an All-Star snub.
Of course, given the Spurs injury luck, I'm sure this will be the rare game in recent weeks that Davis actually finishes.
