Probably the most accurate grades of the season, thanks TGY. And to think you're pinked but that got FkTP can still start threads?

The grades are .
Nice try tgf.
"but but Tony Parker - C-7pts, 3ast, 1blk Kawhi Leonard - F 23pts, 6/16 shooting..."
I wonder why he didn't mention Kawhi had 6 asts in his grades...
Because the SF outplayed the PG as playmaker tonight? "but but Head of the Snake"
Chinook I think you mean 11 years, 4 months, and 29 days too late.
Thanks
I really wanted these grades to make up for the lack of game grades recently
In 2011, he was taking it out on Blake/Love.
Yeah, it's a crying shame we didn't get Toronto grades? Which poster weaseled out of that commitment? Another board got like FkTP I assume.
HH, iirc. Chinook can you confirm?
What a welching asshole if true.
Someone close to HarlemHeat37 should really consider doing a wellness check. He had both the Cleveland and Toronto game grades.
Congrats to Chinook for resisting the urge to editorialize. You've played this whole game grade thing straight-up, from the beginning. Agree or disagree, you've rolled with what was presented - even times you could have edited, like tonight. Given the same opportunity, I'm not sure I could have resisted.
I only got to see the 4th quarter, so I can't comment much. Defense looked ugly in the 4th. Shots not falling. Lee looked like he did his usual thing, but I think some people have to start understanding why I didn't think he belongs at the C, even though he brings great effort.
He's probably just busy sewing his blouse sleeves and capri pants
Nice write up TGY. It's a breath of fresh air to get some critical, unbiased grades these days. Bertans should absorb all Kyle's minutes.

Means a lot coming from one of the most dominant posters on ST
Where's the outrage from all the sanctimonious French s on ST because the game grades have not been taken seriously? Go root for Utah, gots.
Brazil
Yes, both Cle and Tor. Sucks because I'm sure other people would have gladly done those grades.
Thanks for the praise, man. That's why I/we do these.
I really want these threads to represent all of Spurstalk, even parts of ST that I disagree with. As much as people want to criticize the quality of some threads or the grade choices the OPs give, it takes time and effort even to put out a half-assed assessment. I like to get mine out as soon as possible, and I'll think I've just written a bit only to see 70 minutes have passed since I started. Grades take time out of people's schedules, and that's shown in the number of drops we've had recently. Even if TGY was trolling or just didn't care to give grades that made sense to most of us, it still took time out of his day, and for that I appreciate his effort.
I missed the first quarter, so I can't comment too much, but I think the middle quarters were good enough to warrant some better grades. It was an ugly end, but there were stretches of nice ball thrown in. However, getting skunked late by NO always feels horrible even though they aren't an untalented team. The Spurs always find a way to lose on to the Pels, though.
Like I've said before, we don't see the same guys that claim about Parker's 'unfair' criticism in grade-game and 'not taking it seriously', when other player is being trolled in these threads.
I wonder why...
What did you think of Pop's coaching?
I didn't miss the game but things were going on at home and my attention wasn't fixed enough to where I saw everything.
I hate to throw shade on anyone... but I thought defensively the effort wasn't there and it was uneven. It was a winnable game.

Thanks for the write-up bruh![]()
"We ran out of gas. New Orleans was aggressive. They played great for 48 minutes. They moved the ball, hit the boards hard and got loose balls," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "Kawhi did a good job. Tony, again, hasn't played in 10 days."

Tony:The Spurs had been winning lately despite having starters Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker sidelined with nagging injuries. San Antonio fell with both back on the court. Leonard, returning from sore left hand that caused him to miss two games, scored 23, but showed some rustiness, missing 10 of 16 shots. Parker, who'd sat out four games with a sore left foot, hit only two of seven shots and one miss was a momentum-stalling air ball from the right corner in the final five minutes.
I suppose it was a scheduled loss.. The Spurs were on a kind of historic road record and it was bound to end sometime. Still questionable coaching from Pop. I hope he's not just thinking "oh guys just got tired.""We had a great first half," Parker said. "In the second half, they were shooting the ball very well. They made a lot of 3s, so we have to give them credit."
20 shots for 14pts. Lma is a terrible second option. Every team we play seems to have someone that can throw his soft ass off his game.
Pop should get an f but he was in experimental mode tonight.
