lol@ thinking Murray is a savior. Any shot this team has of winning a 'ship this year will come from the guys that have been there before. Murray isn't good enough yet to run a team vs the elites. He may have flashes here and there and no doubt he has the potential to be great but why with the kid's confidence...Parker should start and Patty is back up...Murray can come in and play spot minutes and start occasionally...Pop is doing right by the kid.

Remember the last time Pop got rid of a guy to make room for a rookie? Or the last time he got rid of an old PG to make room for a 19 year old PG?

Those two decisions were pretty idiotic, huh?

Parker looked really bad last night. His first game back which is understandable. I do agree he has just gotten charlie horsed to many times by father time and looks like he is using a walker out there.

He still has tangibles in the offense. He is a black void on D. On ly thing that really annoys me is he does have a odd habit of not seeing Kawhi on the elbow to baseline for the pass. Basically it is juat Kawhi's side of the court and he continues to look in the opposite direction.

Murray has looked good out there over the last couple games want him to be ready to start he just needs more seasoning. He still should be more minutes now after the performances he has had especially if Patty is having the shooting slumps he has been having.

i just dont understand it... i get that parker is back, but why does that mean dejounte has to be completely out of the rotation ... neither parker nor mills had anything today

if bertans is cooking the way he is, why does kyle anderson get 17 minutes?

why is dedmon only getting 8 minutes?
yeah, all this. murray shouldn't get buried on the bench cause parker's back. and joel playing over dedmon ??? why on earth

It'd be better risk management to develop an alternative to Parker, who is inconsistent at best at this stage of his career. Go with oldster or go with youth, it's a gamble either way.
Gee, I wonder which way Pop's going to turn?

Nah. Start parker, but keep him on a short leash. Murray as the main backup. House can come in and pad in garbage time or whatever.

My point was in response to your comment about sticking with the guys who have been there before. And no it's not different times at all, rookie Kawhi was given the reigns at SF not long ago. J Football has nothing to do with the subject at hand, tbh.

Unfortunate but not unexpected. CoJo started for like a month and a half a couple years ago due to injuries, played well, and as soon as Porker & Paddy returned was quickly phased out of the rotation. Murray will almost certainly suffer the same fate, tbh.

I fully expect Mills to be gone after this year.

Someones going to offer him a lot of money and Spurs gotta decide between Mills, Dedmon, and Simmons. I doubt they can pay all 3.

Been calling Pop out for a while now for his coaching. His rotations and lineups oftentimes make literally no sense.

It has a lot to the subject at hand. Pop had to go to KL because he was already heads and shoulders above what we had at the position, specifically defensively. If you remember Jefferson, he was doing nothing. From a pg's standpoint, TP knows the Spurs offensive sets better than any pg on the roster right now. Murray will get his chance one day to start and I hope he ends up being a better pg than TP ever was, but his time isn't now.

Pop is a stubborn old piece of . He won't start Murray. He'd rather lose with Parker because he hates rookies.

If Pop didn't bench Parker for Corey Joseph when he was absolutely the worst starting point guard I've ever seen against the clippers 2 years ago than he won't change now. He's a stubborn old who likes to pretend he's progressive and a forward thinker, but in reality he's just a tinny man with an inferiority complex that hates change and going off script.

LOL... in that stretch you posted, the Pels caught up 5 points. And 3 of those were on the first play that was a 3-pointer by Solomon Hill, who wasn't Tony's man. Why didn't you start with the play right after that? Don't answer... it's because if you had started after that 3-pointer, there would only have been a 2-point swing in the game, and you couldn't make your dumb "point".

    But thanks for playing.

Mills is a back-up. Just lol at getting mad at him because he doesn't come in and bail out the $15 mill/yr fat hero every single time.

0-2 since the fat hero returned but let's blame it on Paddy
